I own another pair of Taos that I absolutely love! These were my second go with this brand.These felt really narrow, the straps were scratchy, and the straps over the toe area felt constricting, even though you can adjust them, it just never felt right.Please note the Taos' Trulie footbed runs a full size smaller than other shoes, so my toes just overhang.

Love the sandals. This is my second part

This is my second pair; the first pair lasted through two years of high-mileage use during warm weather and were still in great shape until my disgruntled-from-moving cat peed on them last fall. I threw them out and this year bought a new pair on July 14th. I paid no attention to the return window b/c I figured they'd last several years. Turns out, only 5 weeks later (Aug 22nd) the stitching came apart on the strap where the velcro attaches and I literally walked out of a sandal while going into the garage. I took a look at the other and saw that stitching was in the process of coming out as well, so I set the shoes aside to return. Now I find out that the joke's on me -- only a 30 day return window and these fell apart literally one week after that! I spent over $100 and the leather & soles are in great shape because I barely wore them, but they're unusable and not returnable either. What a disappointment!

I ordered these sandals and paid full price. Guess what happened? The shoes arrived as expected in about 10 days. I opened the box and lo and behold, the sandals were USED! I had paid for new shoes, but these were definitely worn before by some customer. The bottoms of the shoes were dirty and the suede footbed had the IMPRINT of someone else's toes! You know how sandals that have suede footbeds show the imprint of your foot after you've worn them a few times? That's what I found when I opened this box! They will be returned and a complaint will be filed.
