Lifesaver for snorkelers and divers
I have been scuba diving for over 40 years, and when Spare Air became available, I bought one without hesitation. Running out of air is no joke. Having a paniced diver, grab your regulator out of your mouth because they need air is a dangerous situation.Purchase it, and practice with it. Be sure to purchase the (so-called) “optiona”l air gauge.spare Air units do not hold air as long as traditional scuba tanks. You don’t need surprises.

This is really a safety device.
As a safety device, it will get little use. But it is a good thing to have. I actually purchased it not for diving, but as a small air supply to keep on my sailboat for dealing with emergency issues below the waterline.

Complete lost of money if plan to take in a comercial airplane travel.
I bought in the USA to take to Brazil. The TSA open my luggage and left a note that the cilindre could endanger the flight. What really bothered me was that in the box it sad that was travel save and a airplane drawing. So I lost my money. If you are planning to travel by air don't take it. I trusted what was written on the box and had a big loss.

Not just for scuba
Simple and solves for my Amphibious aircraft. Lightweight and compact, could mean the difference between a successful egress from an inverted aircraft or not. As a Diver myself I would differ to the other posts about supplemental sources for SCUBA, and great post on a source for land emergency.Wheels up!

This is an excellent product. I use it for picking crawfish out of the river and playing in the swimming holes. Definitely would suggest it to anyone who has scuba tanks already and looking for a lite fun on the side without the bulk.

Lower cost alternate air source
It took some imagination to attach this to my BCD that was accessible yet "out of the way". But it has added an added feeling of security at a lower cost of a pony bottle.
