Great box for money
Great value for the price, obviously you aren't going to get a ton more than you pay for. If you want more packs or more variety feel free to buy a normal booster or a normal jumpstart box, for double the price. You can only expect half the value if you pay half the price.

Great purchase for starters
It is cheap and a great gift to give for new magic players!

Pre-built HALF deck in EACH pack, set has 10 themes, 2 per color. Great for beginners
This would be a GREAT box for a group of beginners just getting into the game that don't know how to construct decks. There is great balance in the packs as each comes with 8 mana, creatures as well as support cards. The box says to pick 2 and shuffle, and it is DEAD ON. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for a single box, and NO more than 1 box, as that SHOULD give you all 10 themes. 2 themes per color.I ended up purchasing TWO boxes of Dominaria United Jumpstart a few months ago to use for drafts with my circle of Magic friends. We are experienced players that enjoy the draft as everyone starts at the same baseline. I told the group I had the next draft sorted and there was a little disappointment when this is what I brought. It was suggested that someone go grab a different box to do the draft, but we chose to give this a try. And it actually worked out!!When I purchased this product, I saw a cheap(er) box of magic cards and jumped on it. I didn't notice that it said Jumpstart on it until the night of the draft when someone pointed it out, and haven't heard of jumpstart either, this was my first encounter with it. If I could go back, the only thing I would change is buying a single box, not 2.When I say we are experienced players, we started at different times, but generally speaking it was around the time that 4th Edition dropped in the mid 90s.We had 4 players, each randomly grabbed 2 packs from the box but didn't look at the cards. We had all of the packs on the table with the theme card face up then drafted that way, taking the full pack of themed cards. We rolled a dice to see who went first, going clockwise around the table, then after the 4th person picked, they started the 2nd round and we went backwards. After that we shuffled cards to determine partners and played a 2 headed giant format. As i noted before I wasn't familiar with jumpstart and neither were any of the other players. For a 2nd game we opened another 8 packs and had all 10 themes out in front of us. The themes paired up well together for us, and we had a great night with 2 fun rounds of 2 headed giant.

The Foil basic Land are the only thing of value in the box @ $1 a land for full art foil
Terrible product. Would not buy again. Gave it to the kids to learn how to play, but its a terrible product with little value.

Tearable product buy original jumpstart.
This is far from a expected jumpstart product these decks are very poorly built with little to no theam at all there are only 10 different possibile packs (I looked it up because of all the duplicates I got) unlike the original jumpstart. The packs don't have any story theam or real consept outside of color. It also costs the same as original jumpstart with just 18 packs.I highly recommend buying original jumpstart over this.

Mechanics are Insane.
Loved the first Jumpstart (bought 2 boxes) and if Wizards are going to release this instead of dual decks I'm all in.This box was confusing, but educates me on the mechanics of the block so I can (hope to) build a deck around it as I play.

TERRIBLE.
Cons: Garbage rares, HORRIBLE for the price you pay for a booster box. This was a shameless cash grab, original Jumpstart kicks the snot out of this one.Pros: Great card stock. You're paying top dollar for durable cards and ink. Lots of basic lands too. Too bad they didn't just give you more of these lands in fat packs like the good old days.I could possibly buy singles and build these packs cheaper than buying a booster box. At least I'd know what I was getting...For the money: D- product. And I'm usually very forgiving.

Not very good.
Basically what you've got here are 5 themes, they call them different things but the themes are synonyms of each other, merciless/ruthless, arcane/mystic, crops/legions, charge/attack, beast/monster.Even buying this at the on sale price of 57$ I feel a bit cheated because these synonym packs are basically identical to each other. It might be worthwhile to buy just one of these booster boxes to mix in with normal jumpstart, but never buy MORE than one of these for any reason. In summary you need to have more than 5 different themes to sell these in boxes of 18 boosters.
