ASICS Mens Propel Singlet

Perfect for the Gym!
These are the perfect shirts for working out. I started out with Nike dry fit t-hirts and then moved to their combat pro shirts. After losing significant weight (over 40lbs) I needed new shirts! I also wanted sleeveless to help with my bench press and other arm workouts. So I looked online to save money and stumbled upon these.Compared with similar Nike shirts, these dry quickly but aren't as sweat wicking as the combat shirts with the holes. The sleeveless arm hole isn't too large which is good since my gym gets picky on sleeveless shirts. The material is thin so it does good for drying quickly. The Asics logo is basic and it looks good while not screaming out the brand. I also use mine for basketball as well since it fits good, is long enough to tuck in, and is thin. These shirts are form fitting so some people may want to order a size up if you have a larger stomach. In comparison to the Asic Circuit 7 sleeveless shirts, these ones are thinner in material than the circuit 7 and the shoulder area is not as wide so i recommend these over the circuit 7 unless you need extra warmth. So far after a month the color has stayed perfect and the shirts look like they will make it for atleast a year of weekly use (I own 5 in different colors along with other shirts by Nike, etc.). I still recommend the nike running shirts and training shirts over these due to the better sweat wicking, but for the price these are definitely the cheaper gym shirt and the bare minimum for my workouts!

Great alternative for a cyclist who can't pull off spandex outfits
I recently started up cycling again, and like having a comfortable shirt that drys fast, but I still refuse to go with the brightly colored rainbow outfits you need to wear in order to be a hard core road biker. I just don't ride fast enough to pull it off. Plus, I personally like tank tops over t-shirts in the summer. I decided to see what runners would wear while running, and this actually got good reviews (well, I did notice some OK reviews, one in particular complaining about never receiving the product, but that really didn't seem like it should have been a review in the first place). So at $18, I decided to take the plunge and pick one up. The price is very reasonable, and the fit is perfect for what I would wear. I'm 5'6", about 170 lbs, with a 42" chest and 32" waist, and a medium is just right to be a little snug in the chest (I'd say their size chart is pretty spot on, so sizing deserves 5 stars). This was pretty much what I was looking for in a riding outfit. A snug fit, but not something that would make me look like an over stuffed sausage. If you prefer your tanks to be a little loose, pay closer attention to the size guide's chest measurements and not the ones for the waist, like I did. It's polyester, so it's comfortable, wicks moisture away really well, and isn't going to shrink (I have some medium 100% cotton tanks that used to fit great years ago, that apparently weren't per-shrunk, that would now fit my 4 year old nephew. Not gonna have that issue here. Material gets 5 stars too).I noticed some people complaining about how the material is thicker than most singlets and how it didn't wick away moisture as well as some other singlets, causing chaffing. That's really not gonna be an issue with cycling, and I actually like the thicker material, because it just makes it seem more durable (key word being "seem", since I've only had it for about a month now).I ended up getting one in both shades of blue and a red one, and just ordered one more of each shade of blue. I don't go riding every day, but I do go about 3 times a week or so, and this let's me make sure I have one for every ride without doing laundry every other day.If you're looking for a singlet for running, some of the other reviews are definitely more suited to help you make an informed decision, but for my purposes and for the value of the item, I couldn't be happier. A solid 5 stars here.

Great shirts for the price
I have ordered several different workout shirts from Amazon and find the fit and feel of these shirts to be the best for the money. They are cut slightly more tightly than is shown on the model, but I like them that way. I have a 50" chest and 36" waist and they fit me very well. Would not be good for anyone with a larger midsection, however, as they do not drape like in the pics

Everybody loves it.
Multiple people have commented on my appearance when I'm wearing it. That's not a coincidence... it does look really sharp, and it is of course very comfortable and sturdy. I have worn it on 30 mile bike rides, in the weight room, and for sand volleyball. Just a perfect shirt for just about everything (granted, I haven't run in it yet, but I think that's a given)... One complaint... I cannot find it in my size to buy more, and it is REALLY irritating. I bought a Medium and I am 5'11" 185. The Medium fits perfectly, and I do not want to venture out and try something else now because it is the best workout shirt I've found in a long time. When something works, it works. One thing to know: it is DURABLE and not really elastic. It fits awesome if you are in shape, but if you are a fatter person, it will not be flattering or forgiving, I don't think...

Best gym tank out there.
I've tried many tanks out there but this one is the only one I stuck with. I've used it for bodybuilding, long-distance running, basketball, tennis, and through long, strenuous hikes such as Yosemite's half dome. It's breathable, light, comfortable, attractive, and mine still feels brand new after about 10 months. Simple and effective. Just bought a couple more and I highly recommend others to do the same.

I have both the Asics Propel and Interval singlet
This was the first of the two Asics singlets I bought. At first, I was satisfied with the Propel since it was all I had and there was nothing else to compare it to. It's still a good singlet that does the job, but I don't think I'll be buying another one.Now that I have something better to compare it to, I hardly wear the Propel anymore. The Interval is just better made... It dries faster, the fit is better, the material feels more durable, and most importantly it's more comfortable on long runs for me. That to me is worth paying a few extra for.Next time I need another singlet, I'll just get the Interval instead of this one.
