The Buffalo Are Back

Cute story! I bought this for a PreK graduation gift for a kid who will be an eagle next year. Great story, beautiful pictures, and nice hardcover.

I love this book! It took a long time for it to arrive but it was definitely worth the wait. Condition is excellent!

Such a great book to tie together multiple topics in animals, Native American history, national parks, white American expansion into Native lands, climate change, conservation etc. There are a lot of words per page so I'd consider this a picture book for mid elementary kids. Beautiful paintings.

This is a true account of the history of the Great Plains and the westward expansion. It also tells how, sadly, the perfect balance of nature was spoiled during that time. This book has beautiful colored illustrations and easy to read print. I ordered this book for my school library and when I retired, I just had to included in my personal library at home.
