I really hesitated to make this purchase, because some of the reviews were so negative. That is why I decided to write my own review. I am so glad I bought this item! The bag has so many helpful features, I can’t imagine ever choosing another kind of mattress bag. The mattress I wanted to store is thick and this was plenty big. However, instead of just being a big saggy sack, it comes with two adjustable straps to tighten the excess fabric. It’s zips securely closed - no packing tape to deal with try to seal a flimsy plastic sack. I love that! Also: I had to do this job alone, and didn’t think I would be able to move the bag around with the mattress in it, but it comes with conveniently located straps that feel very secure and made it easy to move. Additionally, there is this clear pocket to identify the mattress inside. I can’t imagine what a benefit this would be, if I removing a whole household of beds. When I’m done using the bag, there’s even a storage pouch to keep it in—including the straps. And, the color is just right! I didn’t want something that would show dirt or look like a tarp. This is perfect for me in every way. I am very happy with this purchase, and I would recommend this item to anyone!

I bought this cover not to use as a storage solution for my mattress but, rather, as a means to get a very heavy Beautyrest mattress up 2 flights of stairs all by myself. It worked! There are nylon straps that make it super easy to grab the mattress and pull. Do I recommend moving a mattress upstairs all by yourself? No. But, if that's your only option, then try this. I can't comment on durability and waterproofing as it was just used for that single purpose but it looks like it's made well and could withstand storage.

I got the king size cover bc I have three twin size beds and didn’t want to pay triple the amount for three single twin size cover. I bought one before for a queen size which was very durable. I believe it was a vinyl or something. The material was heavy ish and you can tell it will hold up. It was about $50 well being that I was trying to be coat affective for the 5 mattresses I have this item is not that. I was better off spending the extra funds. Not sure if it will hold up or if it’s even true waterproof but the material is cheap like wind breaker jacket. I’ll be returning the additional twin size I purchased bc not only was I able to get both twin size mattresses in, I got the third one in too. One thing I can say is that it’s roomy. You probably can put the box springs with the mattress in this cover. I don’t think it’s worth this price tho.

I bought this item believing in the comments and product description, but I have to say I'm very disappointed. I bought this item because I am moving and wanted my mattress to be protected. I moved today and opened the item for the first time to cover my mattress, only two find two holes on each corner. It was too late for me to return, I should've checked the item ahead of time, but I trusted the product description. I ended up taping the corners to prevent it from continuing to rip.

Love this! Zips the entire 3 sides..as a disabled woman with a very heavy pillowtop mattress I was so happy how easy it was to put on..I was done in 10 minutes! And its very roomy and sturdy and not too big..i will recommend it to everyone I know..
