This adapter cable is exactly what I needed for recording audio using an external microphone while recording video with my iPhone. The separate headphone output works flawlessly as well.I was pleasantly surprised with the high-quality manufacturing. The inputs are tight and the look and feel of this item is first class.I've read a few other reviews on this prior to purchasing and it seems that anyone who had issues with this must've simply not fully understood what they were buying. I've been involved in audio and video production for many years and needed a simple way to separate the audio input from the audio output for use with a smartphone. In my case, I am using an iPhone. I imagine this would also work well with an android, but I haven't tested that.

Worked excellent--needed a splitter to connect my Bise headphones to a computer with separate headphone and mic Jacks. No distortion noted through the connectors and the connectors and wiring seems to be of acceptable quality.

We bought this headphone splitter to use to watch TV quietly when using our sound bar was not appropriate. The price was good, the splitter is made well and performs just like we need it to. We are very happy with our purchase.

Works as intended and the design looks good but that is about it. There are other products online that do the job better than this one, this adapter is just cents cheaper.-1 star because the included CTIA to OMTP adapter is literally useless. I intended to use it for my PS4 controller but it did not work. Then, to make sure it was working as intended, I tried it with different headsets/earphones but none worked. It just degraded the quality of sound more and the microphone did not work at all. Defective maybe?-1 star because the quality of sound/voice gets degraded drastically in contrast with other products.

One side worked fine. The other did not work at all. Not many people know the difference in the two so was great to have the adapter in case I ever need it. Splitter works great and works for mic and headphones as expected, thank you!
