Good value magnetic building blocks
These are good magnetic building blocks that overall are pretty good, but not compatible with or as high quality as the Geomag Magicubes which is a bit shame. So when we saw these we got pretty excited as our young son has a few sets of Geomag Magicubes which he loves, but they are very pricey and you don’t get a lot of cubes for your money with them, so when we saw these we thought they would be a good way to expand the set for a reasonable amount of money. So if you are comparing these to Geomag Magicubes then these are a fair bit smaller and the edges are not as rounded and just generally they are not as good quality wise. These on there own are pretty good though, I think the concept of these magnetic cubes is great, it is that nice step between basic building blocks and something like Lego, with these you can build more interesting designs that can defy gravity a bit while still being very simple to build. The set is pretty good value, at the time of writing you get 40 blocks for around £20 which is really good compared to some other similar blocks. The magnets are fine in them too, they hold reasonably well, I also find the small size helps with this.

Fantastic toy
These have been great. Aside from building we've been using them for basic colour recognition, counting and simple maths.

Compact but a lot of fun
The media could not be loaded. This is one of those gem toys that are so small so easy to take along but versatile and can be used in many ways. The blocks are small so not for children who put things in their mouths. Use them to make bridges, stairs, castles, people, you can even play games with them - guess what I’m building, or take a dice and each person rolls they get just that amount of bricks to build something and anyone who guesses right gets the builder a point, so if 2 people guess what they’ve built they get 2 points if 4 people guess right they get 4 points winner is person with most points. The kids came up with loads of games to play with them so this small box of bricks kept children from 1-15 occupied on holiday!

Smaller
I expected something bigger but it does the job and my kids like it

Brilliant idea for kids.
Nice little toy you could easily travel with, Small little metal magnetic square that can build all sorts of shape and patterns. Be careful around small ones as these are relatively small squares, but nice for older children, would be a good gift idea.

Excellent
The media could not be loaded. Pack of 40 x 1 inch magnetic cubes - 10 each of red, blue, yellow and green. The cubes are made of sturdy ABS plastic and have strong magnets. They are ideal for free play but can be used educationally too to encourage counting, sorting and shape/pattern building. The quality is excellent and the blocks are sturdy with strong enough magnetism to hold the shape of a small build in mid air. My young nephews and nieces love playing with anything magnetic but these blocks are firm favourite. They’re currently priced at £20.99, personally I think they’re priced on the high end of the scale for this type of block but they are better quality than some I’ve seen.

Not magnetic
The blocks had the weakest magnets ever and would not stick together at all making them a bit useless.
