For longgggg I have been willing to buy this backpack, and I am so satisfied with my purchase!The inner water bottle pockets are pretty big, I have a 32OZ owalla that fits inside them. It has multiple organization pockets including a laptop sleeve AND a tablet sleeve!When carrying as a backpack, you can also stuff a notebook (A4) or papers where the straps were hidden in tote mode 😎Also, when loaded, it doesn’t feel heavy and I’m quite an overpacker .It can be an excellent companion as an EDC, a campus backpack and a work pack and will always look stylish and official wherever you go.This is a 5 star from me!!!

I have a bunch of Bellroy products for myself and I finally bought something for my wife who travels a ton for work and is a habitual over packer. Her work requires her to carry at minimum of a laptop (or two), tablet and several other peripherals. With that in mind I did my research and of course Bellroy was there for me. This bag is both stylish, functional, professional looking and holds the gear that she needs. It definitely just holds enough without too much extra space ( she has mentioned that on a few trips she needed it to hold a bit more) but your experience my vary. All in all and with everything Bellroy, it's a great bag and comes highly recommended. Quality product.

A quality bag with several useful compartments that makes commuting easier and more stylish than the corporate looking black luggage style backpacks or student backpacks.

Great product. Quite user friendly. My favorite thing is that I can wear it as a backpack even with my delicate knit dresses/sweaters and it does not cause pilling and damage to my clothes. The only reason it’s a 4 star review is that the capacity advertised does not match my experience. I have to be fairly strategic about what goes where as the bag gets crowded very quickly. For example, I bought a bento lunch box that fits nicely at the bottom. If I were to carry two water bottles/smoothie/coffee mugs then organizing the bag would become hard. This sadly means that the bag can’t carry lunch and snacks that could last me the whole day—I can either have one meal, or take a few snacks. That said, I was looking for sleek profile so it looked professional, so I guess these are the cons that come with it. The side zippers are a great feature, the straps carry the weight well without hurting shoulders, and the simple design of the bag will have great appeal to those who want sturdy and practical products.

I feel like I have been searching my whole life for this backpack. Finally one that is comfortable and keeps things organized. As a petite women, it is hard to find well-fitting backpacks that aren't too small. The outside pockets are handy for a water bottle and other items you want to get to quickly. The inside has nice organizers for your cords and zipper pocket. While I've been using it as a backpack, you can store the straps easily and carry it as a tote. Love the color too.

This bag looks so good and is so sturdy - it's a shame that in the end it does not open up to hold as much as I would have liked. The main compartment is deep, but narrow, making it difficult to reach in and grab what you need, or add contents in a hurry (After-gym-cram-it-in? Can't win!) I think if you travel light - a laptop and a few light essentials, it may be a better choice. I will definitely look at other Bellroy styles, though, because they really are well made.

I just got my Tokyo Totepack and I’m loving it! The quality is excellent with great zippers and materials, love all the pockets but what I like the most is the convertibility between a tote and a backpack, quite clever! I got mine in bronze and it’s so stylish!!!

I ordered this for a west coast excursion that occurred in rainy weather. I actually used it while touring around cities and towns - for shopping, and stopping to eat and read on the beach. It worked out GREAT! It's basic look and high quality fabric makes it versatile for any occasion without looking like a nomadic hiker who is hostel hopping.
