Excellent for fishing
I love these. I use these instead of my aluminum ones for fishing because of the long needle nose. I can reach further and these are nice and thin.

Bought these as my previous pair of boat pliers now reside on the bottom of Lake Erie…my only complaint is the tip is a little hefty for my taste, but they work good overall still

Not Really For Saltwater Use
These are supposed to be the "saltwater" version, but they do not stand up to saltwater use. They rust like crazy and are very difficult to open when rusting starts. I spent over an hour with wd40 and a wire brush trying to pull them apart and close them over and over. Finally got them loosened up again. 2 weeks later they were hard to open again. The original black ones, the freshwater ones, stood up a lot better against saltwater. I would recommend those over these if you can find them. I also, dont like that these dont have the split ring opener that also helps grabbing the hook when pulling a knot tight.
