Garbage
First of all, the instructions on how to set it up are so basic as to be useless. I think I figured it out, but maybe I haven't, because it doesn't work consistently. There are also no instructions on how to train your dog to it, but i found a lot of information on that on the internet. So. I set the distance of the radius to 300, then walked out with the collar and a bunch of marking flags so I can mark the boundary for my dog. It beeps! I plant a flag there! Great! I walk back 15 or 20 feet and approach the flag again just to test it. Nothing. I walk back further, and then out again at an angle from the first flag. It beeps! I plant a flag. I proceed to walk all around my multi-acre property, planting flags when it beeps (which isn't very often). You would think the flags would mark a big arc 300 feet from the device, right? Well, you would be wrong. It looks like a scatter graph. Not only is there no arc, but when I approach any of the flags already planted, about 75% of the time there is no beep. Sometimes there's a beep way closer than 300 feet, but usually there is nothing. This is not a wooded area, it's a big alfalfa field. There are very few trees to block a signal. This is just junk.TL;DR Don't waste your money. I wish I hadn't.

Great value for the money!
Just what we were looking for! This collar system works well for keeping our two small dogs in the yard when they go outside to potty. Before using the collars, they would run up to the neighbors fence and bark uncontrollably at their dog. Now, the collars emit a warning tone that tells them that they have gone too far and they don’t go to the fence any longer.Even though they are small, both under 20 lbs, the dogs are able to wear the collars without any issues. I recommend this for helping to train dogs to stay within their boundaries. It helped with our dogs.

It worked for me
Bought this for my unruly Yorkiepoo (he is an escape artist). It works great. Easy to set up. Has helped tremendously with keeping doggie Hudini within the backyard boundaries.

Game changer, Great for training, not long lasting
So much good came from these collars, but so much learned lessons too. I have an active large breed dog. I survived the rest of summer with this set, prior I purchased same brand/model but with a set of 3. All 5 collars succumbed to my dogs water play or aggressive play with neighbors dogs. They really can't get wet at all. Quality of buttons on collar is less desirable. However, when they worked, they kept her on my land, helped me train her to be with my goats & remain calm around them (she wanted to eat them when she first came to live with me (city dog, never experienced wild life & livestock for her 1st yr of life, abonded on the streets of Portland) Now (w/out collar) she wants to play with them, but refrains, just long enough for me to interfer & place her on a lead if she looks like she might lunge, it is an improvement. She isn't a true guardian dog as I adopted her late in the game & I'm not a professional herding dog trainer. I was super glad tho, how amazingly mature & calm she has become since the very first training experience when I put the collar on. Also, she no longer jumps on people & other activities I needed to limit her from but was seriously struggling to calmly train her without yelling all the time to get down or whatever else she wasn't listening to (she is a very excited & happy dog, loves EVERYONE, but when she came, knew NO boundaries, she is strong, heavy & knocks you over with love). Before the collars, training her was near impossible & a physical activity I'm not capable of maintaining at my age & health limitations with her unbelievable power, endurance & strength. I have a new tougher higher quality GPS collar system on the way, hoping it will last thru winter. Without a working collar at the moment, I can still see why I need one. She isn't fully property loyal yet without the collar boundary system. However, she is super well behaved with frens & neighbors now, without to much effort or prompting/commands from me. Just occasional gentle reminders now (no collar needed for social commands any longer). I'm very happy with my personal outcome, but can't give this model higher stars, because the quality for the price just isn't lasting long enough in my personal opinion & for my personal homestead & community considerations.Water play should not have so easily destroyed all 5 collars I went thru since June when I started. Battery life is awesome. GPS at 100ft drives me crazy, but set at 200ft or more, doesn't seem to beep for no reason within range. At 100ft, they often beeped within range of 10ft or less for no reason. So, the GPS isn't very well dialed in. At 200ft, for me, this allows her to go to the road. So, I often had to stop, place it on manual & train her not to go near the road. Set it at 200ft, until she probed it again & needed manual remote training again. This is not a tool to leave your dog unsupervised, but will help when your outside with your dog & give your dog more play room without fences or lines. I love the convenience of not digging to place in expensive boundary wires. So, I'm gonna keep trying to work with these type of GPS models & hope I find a higher quality for my breed dog that is more durable & will last when snow comes. She LOVES to play in snow. So I know this model will not last winter at the current water rating given by the manufacturer. I think this collar is perfect for others that need 200ft or more of boundary & perfect if you don't have ponds & pools or a dog that loves water & snow. It even breaks down from just a little hose water play. Also, perfect if you have multiple dogs that play, but are not to aggressive, because the tabs on the collar are easily ripped off if bigger dogs are playing aggressively. Things I learned, but still....I have a much better behaved dog now, without injuring myself or chasing her around the mountain country community filled with free ranging livestock, chickens, wild turkey & deer. Or having to limit her to a line when my back is turned working on my homestead. I prefer working with her by my side or near, not sneaking off her land onto the neighbors property where, if she harms thier animals, even playfully, they could & would shoot if they can't control her, even if they do love her. They have a right to protect thier own livestock, as do I. So, it is very serious buisness that I succeed in training her to remain or fully limit her from leaving. I do really appreciate that success alone, when I have working collars. The whole community has told me when visiting her, what a huge difference & how well behaved she is now since the first collar. I continue to receive many compliments about her much calmer approach to them & they enjoy being able to love on her without getting knocked over. She is also now respecting boundaries other dogs give her, as she tires them out. Before the collars, she played to rough with them (older dogs). Whole community is super happy I am succeeeding with her, as they do adore her too & wanted to see her remain here. Before the collars, I was questioning if I could keep her at all & considering rehoming her with someone younger & more skilled with large dogs to give her a good quality life. I'm glad to report, because of these collars, I'm keeping her, the improvement is that good.We all highly engage with each others' dogs & other animals. As she is young still, I'm still in need to continue on with a collar, especially with my goats. I can't let her near the goats without a remote training collar. She will chase them all off & stress them & controlling her physically is dangerous for me. I can't run that fast anymore, especially on rough terrain as where I live. 😅 She simply has a long ways to go with the goats still. At least she won't try & eat them anymore tho. I anticipate with her own natural maturity increasing & the aide of these collars, I'll need to keep working with her for another year at least, maybe 2 more yrs (with a GPS collar system to help). I'm hoping that no more than 2 yrs from now, she will be as trusted, property loyal, calm with goats & other wild life, just like my neighbors country born dogs. At least now, I can see a path with her by my side. As far as most used remote training, the beep function worked pretty good, the vibration worked best to get her attention with wild life or goats. Rarely EVER had to use the shock function in the beginning, never ever had to use the shock function since. She hates the vibration just enough to immediately stop any negative behavior. And she is truly a strong large girl. Thx for coming to my GPS dog collar Ted talk. 🤣

Best functioning & easy to use!
This big girl, Birdie, kept running past the GPS perimeter fences I purchased. We are in the process of putting up an actual fence, but we needed something in the meantime. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a collar since we are putting that into the fence, so I was looking for something that would work well in the meantime. I tried two other collars. One worked, but then the programming changed, and I couldn't figure it out. Another one was easy to program, but the dogs would go past the perimeter fence. This one, however, did the trick! Birdie kept escaping until I used this collar. It's super easy to program. The charge lasts for a long time, and it actually works! I even emailed the company with some troubleshooting questions, and, unlike one of the other companies, they got back to me within the hour both times. I HIGHLY recommend this product for the value, functionality, and ease of use!

Not reliable.
I’ve tested this collar for a few weeks now. In my opinion it is not reliable, and not worth the money for a wireless fence. I have a regular collar and have already trained my dog to come back on a beeping noise but this collar does not care where you put the receiver it still randomly beeps my dog. I’ve tested the ranges by turning on the fence mode and walking down the road and around the yard and anything past setting 4 is hit or miss sometimes it beeps, and sometimes it don’t. If the dog goes behind any object like a car or boat it beeps. Also I believe it randomly shocks also because my dog will be sitting me and the receiver and she will jump up panicked and kinda freak out witch I’ve never seen her do before and it’s happened about the times that I’ve seen. Do what you will with this information this is my honest opinion and observation of this device for the time I’ve had it.
