NIV, True Images Bible, Leathersoft, Teal/Gold: The Bible for Teen Girls

I bought this bible for my daughter, and she loves it. The text is a great size and is super easy to read. The notes throughout are super helpful in explaining what you read, and then helping apply it to real life. And may I mention the cover is absolutely gorgeous! Tge best study bible ever!! Would totally recomend!

This bible is not only beautiful but it has some great questions to ask your teens. She takes it to church every Sunday and she loves to read it when she does Bible study.

I was on the hunt for a thoughtful and unique gift for one of the seniors on my daughter’s Varsity volleyball team, and this item turned out to be perfect. It strikes the ideal balance between youthful and insightful, making it a meaningful keepsake. The cover is absolutely gorgeous and looks even better in person. The young athlete who received it absolutely loved it and finds herself reflecting on it often. It’s the kind of gift that resonates long after the season is over. Highly recommend for any athlete or senior in need of a special, memorable gift!

My 9-year-old daughter picked this Bible out for herself. She loves it! It truly is beautiful! The gold edging is elegant and the colors and illustrations inside and out are attractive. The text is also large enough for my 40-something eyes to read, which is a plus. I did notice this is geared for teens, but after looking at the example pages on Amazon I felt it would be appropriate for my daughter, and something she could grown into and use for many years to come.Once we received it I noticed it is full of topics and advice ranging from beauty, dating, fashion to heavier ones like alcoholism, virginity (even mentioning oral sex is still sex...), homosexuality, suicide, pornography and sexual abuse....Now, I have to admit I was taken aback at first. However, these topics are portrayed as situations another girl (they give random names) is facing and the responses to them were thoughtful, sensitive, biblical and have scripture listed to support it. From what I've seen, it also doesn't describe or go into any detail what homosexuality, pornography, etc...are, so the young lady reading these stories will not "learn" what these things mean without prior knowledge. I can see where these difficult topics might come up in a girl's life and this Bible is a wonderful resource for these tough questions and situations, especially if she doesn't have a trusted adult which she can turn to.I personally think this Bible should be more geared towards the upper high school to college years. But every child is different and is exposed to different environments, so just use your judgement. I do love that there are many uplifting and positive "notes" throughout. Now, I don't think my 9-year-old 4th-grader is ready for much of the mature subject matter. I asked her to just read the scripture in this Bible, and if there are any stories not appropriate, to come ask me and we will go over them together. (She is aware of what is and is not appropriate and would be more than happy to come to me so I can explain things to her in greater (age appropriate) detail.)If you are aware of the content of this Bible and are comfortable using it, I think it is a wonderful resource. It can be a great bonding tool for mother and daughter (or any woman who wants to teach Scripture to adolescent ladies) to use and to see what God's word has to say about many uncomfortable topics in today's society. It is also perfect for a special teen who needs a positive messages in their life with direction and answers to difficult questions, but may be too embarrassed or has no one to ask.

Great Bible for my new Teenager

My granddaughter reached out & wants to know God and wants to start reading the Bible. This Bible is lined out so well. With great topics for her read on. It's also VERY pretty! I highly recommend it for an older teenager (14-18 yrs old)
