Great book
Love the book and the colors. Also like that is hard cover it last more since regular paper kids tend to rip it off. But if it’s hard cover definitely do buy it. Great for kids to see all the colors and they get to sing along.

Could this be the perfect board book?
I was first introduced to this book after checking it out from my local library. It immediately became a favorite book for my then 15 month old son, so much so that I reached my renewal limit with it and had to regretfully return it to the library. With Christmas coming up, I knew what would be going under the tree for my son. The look on his face when he unwrapped it was priceless. It was like he was seeing an old friend. We read, well actually sing, this book at least a few times every day. My son loves the singing, and I love that there is so much to be seen and discussed on each page. This book has bright, vibrant colors, is very sturdy (though heavy for a little one), and is endlessly entertaining. I highly recommend this book for anyone with young children, i.e. grandparents, parents, daycare, doctor's offices, etc. It is truly a classic!

Good for non-musical first time parents
This book is just ok, it's sturdy and has great pictures but I get really hung up on the words. They aren't all the traditional ones I expected, the verses are "wheels on the bus go round and round, horn on the bus goes beep beep beep, wipers on the bus go swish swish swish (all fine and good) and then we get driver on the bus says tickets please (I just say move on back instead since my boys can't read yet to know the difference) then parents on the bus say chat chat chat, babies on the bus say wah wah wah, and people on the bus say shh shh shh. They aren't big differences so it's still 4 stars but I find it greatly annoying and I would have chosen a different version if I had realized it before purchase. Someone unfamiliar with the song would probably enjoy it (like a non musical first time parent who has forgotten all the words since childhood). Also, it says something other than "all through the town" after each verse. I can't remember exactly what though. My almost two year old loves to look at the pictures while I sing the traditional song but my four year old is catching on and keeps asking me to show him the daddies on the bus going read read read in the picture...

This is a great book for my 3 year old
This is a great book for my 3 year old. She sings with all the 3 books we have so far. She knows the songs from story hour at the library where they have the same books in maxi format. This is awesome and provides quality time for your child. The illustrations are beautiful. Would definetely recommend this for all children from 2 years up.

Great rendition of the song
This is a cute little version of the Wheels on the Bus song where a party bus is going around town and picking up people to go to a little girl's birthday party. The lyrics are fairly accurate to the classic of my own childhood and the images are very cute. The gimmick seems to be the "books with holes" design, where portions of each image carry through to the next page, which is pretty ingenious.Overall, this is a great little book and I can't seem to adequately hide it from my daughter. I've read this book probably 1000 times since I've purchased it.

My daughter loves to study all the details in the drawings!
I don't usually post comments on things, but I had to return to comment on this book which my 2 y.o. daughter LOVES! What I love most about it is the bright colorful drawings with so much detail. Something different is happening on each page and new characters are introduced. My daughter spends more focused time looking at the pictures in this book than any other book. It helps too that Wheels on the Bus is one of her favorite songs. And yes, we sing different versions than what's written, but she can read it anyway! Plus, we've added so many more verses for some of the animals and people boarding the bus (the bunny goes hop-hop-hop, the cat goes meow... and even the drum on the bus goes boom, boom, boom!) Then since the book ends with a birthday party (another favorite song of hers) we sing even more! And again, so many little things going on in the scene that we talk about all those too. I highly recommend it!

A fantastic book!
The book is great! First, it is a story that children like very much and they enjoy singing the song as they take a look at the pages. Then the book has wonderful pictures! They are very colourful and attracting to children. Finally the holes are great since children can remember what happened at the previous page an so on. I REALLY LOVE IT!
