I have used Staetler Mars pencils, mechanical and wood, since 1964 in Architecture and design. They are the best quality.

It’s a basic set but definitely worth the price.

The sharpener I got looks a bit different and isn't as tall. Also the hinge on the cap for it was broken, but it still snaps closed so not a huge problem. It sharpens well and is easy to use.The pencils and eraser are as described. Overall, I think it's a decent deal and I'm happy.

I got this as a gift for my dad. Now he sends me pics of drawings he drew. Best part of my week is getting a new picture.

Product itself is great; supplier not so great.I ordered this set thinking it would be a good value. The set was supposed to include the set of 12 Staedtler pencils in their plastic case, a Staedtler, 2-hole metal sharpener, and a Staedtler Rasoplast eraser, as illustrated and described in the product description. In reality, I received a cheaper, plastic sharpener of the same brand, and no eraser. The pencil set was not sealed or wrapped in the original packaging. The 2B pencil included with this set was MANY years old, and looked to have been used or been kept in someone's drawer/bag for some time and recently sharpened. The 2B pencil in this set also had different markings and writings on it comparable to pencils manufactured and sold some time ago. Wish I had read the negative reviews from others before I bought from this supplier. Buy from someone else!
