These ear pads for the Astro A50’s are incredibly comfortable. Of the replacement pads I’ve tried for the A50’s these have been the best. I won’t need to order another set. They matched up perfect and are comfortable around my ears. They add better noise cancelling to the headset while providing a gentle cool feeling that doesn’t create sweat. The factory pads were great until they wore out ( I average game 5 hours a day). They have been the best replacement I’ve found. Definitely recommend these for replacement ear pads!

I love the feeling and quality of these cooling ear pads. I normally play video games for 2 to 4 hours a day with the original ear pads and I usually get a lot of headaches with them. Secondly, I usually get this burning feeling from them after gaming for a while.I decided to purchase these replacements for my A50 Gen 4, and ever since then I can keep on gaming without any headaches or having any burning feelings on my head. I highly recommend this product to anyone and this is a need!

To start these are really comfortable and they are made of high quality material. The sound quality is still great and they fit perfectly. The only downside is the top cushion doesn’t fit the greatest. It often comes out but it’s manageable.

As the owner of an Official Astro A50 headset Mod Kit I can assure you this 3rd party Mod Kit sold here on Amazon is an incredibly superior product.For starters these ear cushions are more thicker, thus they block sound better. They are also made with a more comfortable cushion material that feels more similar to the cushions on the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 headset.I would highly recommend these over the ones sold by Astro.

Buy with caution. It gets the job done, but much lower quality and a higher price than Astro's official mod kit. Got conned with the low review count.Pro:The bigger earcups improved the stability of the headset on your head. The standard earcups definitely slid around while on my head. This sits snug.It feels extremely cool when you first put it on (doesn't last long, but noticeable).Cons:Cheap packaging. The official Astro mod kid is 20% cheaper and comes in a nice box. This is literally thrown in a cheap zip lock bag.It's hard to capture on camera, but the top piece arrived with a lot of micro scratches.The cloth material is a big downgrade from the standard plush material Astro used. Also, imo it was a big miss to use synthetic leather INSIDE the earcups as it will make your ears sweat even with the cooling gel.They do mention this, but the headset doesn't fit in the base station well with these on.
