the trap is a complete waste of money. The netting material is unbelievably flimsy and weak. I'm not even talking about fish escaping; sea fleas and other small creatures were tearing through it like it was tissue paper. The mesh simply isn't strong enough to hold anything, let alone a fish. I wouldn't trust this trap with a single minnow, and certainly not for the intended use. Save your time and money and look for a trap made with a more durable netting material. This one simply isn't fit for purpose.
