This book as a whole puts a stop to Employee Central misinformation, addressing clearly all the big topics that will be faced in many implementations. Don't get scared - 700 pages - but you don't have to read them all - it will remain as a reference item in your work library for a long time.The early chapters give an easy-to-follow yet deep understanding of the basics needed for the set up of the HR Core application, while its clear chapter structure makes possible locating any specific item quickly, diving in directly in complex areas such as integration (described based on various integration scenarios) or specific types of employment (such as contingent, concurrent, expats or apprentices).I really found very clear the space devoted to the foundational items - Permissions, Extensibility and so much more. This is the best book to reference for all things SuccessFactors whether you are just getting started and need to understand the important implementation considerations and foundational concepts or an avid user who who like to research a specific topic more in-depth like global assignments, contingent workforce management or diving deep in the Integration center capabilities.I already make an effort to follow the distinguished authors LukeMarson, Rebecca Murray, and Brandon Toombs on social media and it is very valuable to have their combined intel in a single place for easy look and reference. I give this one two thumbs up.

Luke Marson and Rebecca Murray have been my "go-to's" for years (along with Brandon Toombs) when it comes to any Employee Central questions I have and great to see them (along with Murali) share 745 pages of their knowledge in this excellent SAP Press book. Would highly recommend every SuccessFactors Employee Central customer, consultants and partner have copies of this book at their disposal as it will save you money, make your project go more smooth and be a resource you can use for support.
