The installation wasn’t too complicated I would say. I watched a video to help run me through taking my car apart and the wiring so as long as you follow step by step you should be good. Everything was working fine with a really good sized screen and no lag or anything. I did come across an issue where a notification “No WiFi or mobile data connection” displayed and didn’t let me tap any of the icons so I contacted the seller and they were able to provide me with a step by step video which was beyond helpfulSo to conclude, not only an A+ on quality but A++ on their costumer service.

The media could not be loaded. I have 0 experience with car radios and I found this very simple to install and so far works amazing!!! The screen isn’t glitchy or slow at all. I didn’t have to purchase any extra harnesses or adapters for this as it came with everything it needs. Car radio installers were trying to charge me $250-375 to install this radio but I just followed a YouTube video and it took me about an hour. I would say the most difficult part was removing the original car radio but the installation of the android carplay was very simple. Works with my factory camera and wheel! It also tells you when your car door is open and which exact door it is. You can also control the AC from the screen which I also love!

I've had this Apple CarPlay system for over a month now, and I’m thrilled with how well it works! The installation was a breeze—thanks to a comprehensive YouTube video that walked me through every step and wire. So far, I’ve had zero technical issues.The system has enhanced my driving experience in several ways: my backup camera now displays a larger view, I can watch Amazon Prime shows and YouTube videos while parked, and even my speakers sound a bit better.The only drawback is that it doesn’t come with a built-in navigation system. It does feature Google Maps, but it requires an internet connection to function, which seems unnecessary since I could use my phone’s navigation with Apple CarPlay. It’s a minor inconvenience but not a dealbreaker. Additionally, the microphone for phone calls is quite low and muffled, so I often have to use my phone’s speaker or connect my AirPods.Despite these minor issues, I definitely feel I got my money’s worth and am very satisfied with the system overall!

Seller advertises product as compatible with ALL 2016-2021 HONDA CIVIC models… however, this product (even with the extra harness they will tell you to buy to ‘make’ it compatible) doesn’t work on a HONDA CIVIC TYPE R.Not only did I spend over $300 and lots of time waiting for the seller to respond and help me out, but I had to research on my own and figure out how to install, because the seller couldn’t help me out.I will be returning the product today, and looking for something of higher value, it has good product reviews for baseline civics, but don’t get this if you have a TYPE R or Si model, it’s a waste of your time. Seller also showed no sense of urgency to help me out with the product, although I was being very patient waiting for responses and trying to figure out installation by myself. Not until I started the return did the seller text me asking to ‘help me’ and offer a partial refund… by this point I had figured out the connections, but the product still didn’t produce the original volume level that the car produced with the OEM module (downgraded sound quality). Don’t bother wasting your time with this product if you don’t plan on putting it on a baseline civic, you won’t receive a response containing substance from the seller and it will definitely not work correctly.

The media could not be loaded. The screen is great quality and netflix will be awesome for road trips. The sound quality is amazing if not better than it used to be. The backup camera works perfectly. Installation takes about an hour if you watch a youtube video. Don’t be alarmed by the number of cords you don’t plug in, you’re doing it correctly.

Honestly really quite good, especially for the price. I purchased a $500 Sony unit through crutchfield that turned out to have a lot of issues so I figured I'd try this unit out. Large, super crisp screen with all the functionality you'd expect. Few snags with the install but customer service was good at helping me configure via email and photos. Occasionally the wireless Android auto has trouble connecting, but if I just close the program and connect again it works just fine. I don't find many of the apps that came with the unit very helpful, but once I'm connected to Android auto none of that matters.

It's been 2+ months since I've received this radio and installed it my 21 Honda civic. At first it was great but now the honeymoon is over. First, it certainly is easy to install. Very nice looking unit. Easy enough to get around. When it comes to the wireless connection/GPS however, it truly is hit or miss. Have everything set the way it should, watched every video I can find, no solution. Today I was on a 3 day stretch of not connecting. Then at my lunch commute, it miraculously connected. Went to leave work in the afternoon, again no connection. Attempted to hard connect but guess what? My USB port no longer works. I've shut my phone off, turned off the head unit, restarted everything. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So if you're looking at this unit, save your money. You can do better. I read a few reviews that mentioned this issue but I put it off to inexperienced operators. Boy, was I wrong. Can't ever depend on this for navigation during a trip. We live, we learn.
