This shirt was better than I expected, I’m really happy with the purchase

The neck on this is so wide it was impossible to wear a bra without the e straps showing, even if I pushed the straps out as far on my shoulders as possible without them falling off. I purchased a Small, and I wear a size 4. It was overall huge, but the neck opening made it unwearable even as a baggy piece. The material is not linen. It’s very rough and cheap, but may have softened over time.I tried it on and immediately put it back into the wrapper, folded nicely, and returned the next day. I had ordered two colors, and did not even open the packaging of the second. They refunded me $3.99 for each top, so I lost $20 on each with no explanation. I spent $40 to try on a garment and have to drive to return it. I would not recommend purchasing this unless you are keen to keep and use whatever arrives at your doorstep, whether or not it is quality or as expected. In any case, returning is a poor option, as I could have perhaps gotten more benefit from donating this to goodwill and writing it off a tax time.

Fabric is a crisp, rather stiff linen so there is no drape at all. Probably fine on non-curvy body types. I normally wear a medium but exchanged it for a small. Medium made me look like a beige Sponge Bob.The hem had a diagonal ripple all the way around due to poor construction, wearable but visually disappointing.

No mater what sizing information the vendor posts, the reviews always include contradictory information about sizing and you wind up heeding the wrong advice. This top is too wide by far.I am 5'4" and 160lbs, the widest part of my bust is 41". I ordered the Large, which is listed for bust range of 38.5 - 40.5. Nope. I will have to add pleats in the back and tucks in the front to bring the shoulders in. I many have to take in the sides as well.

This is a beautiful well made top and the yellow is a gorgeous fall color - not too mustardy. The linen is a bit stiff but pure linen is like that.I really, really wish this came in an XS because the small is just too big, even for a relaxed fit. I’m debating whether I could alter this top myself to make it less roomy, but I may just have to send it back. If the fit was better I’d love to keep it. For reference I’m 5’5”, 117 lbs.
