My 14 year old son is an avid Star Wars fan and bought this with his birthday money. It is a world beyond the ones sold for kids. The handle is metal and feels substantial in your hand. It's several inches longer than your average Star Wars franchise plastic lightsaber, so be careful with swinging it around if you're used to the size of those. It changes colors, has a strobe effect, and makes a lightsaber sound when turning on and when hitting it against something. It charges quickly with the charger provided. The only thing my son wishes it would do is to make noise when just swinging it around. I was skeptical when purchasing, but it's turned out to be durable and entertaining.

I ordered this lightsaber for my sith Halloween costume last October and it was absolutely perfect! The multiple color choices besides sith red are also useful if I want to change things up for my next costume. Definitely bringing it to my next convention for sure! This is one of the most inexpensive and good quality sabers on the market if you're looking for a good first-time lightsaber, dual saber, or cosplay prop. It's very tough and durable, it actually broke my phone screen in a lightsaber trick accident and was completely unbattered. (the phone screen breaking was entirely my fault) Absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable lightsaber!!!

Got this for Halloween and I can tell you that with the multiple color change options it was super bright and easy to see. I love the options to disable the sound and prefer the solid always on look. It's weighted perfectly so you can swing it around with ease. I think with the metal hilt makes it feels sturdy and durable. Had it one more than than two hours while Trick or treating, so I'm happy to carry this around. I'd prefer this as it far cheaper than the licensed FX ones. So far, it's my happy toy and I'm glad I made the purchase.

Purchased this on a deal for $55 and it is worth that, but not much more. The construction and features are good enough for kids that aren’t overly rough, but it definitely won’t hold up to a lot of abuse. As a display, it is very plain, but has a sense of sleekness to it.

This lightsaber is durable, bright, and versatile! This is by far the best lightsaber for the price, and if you're thinking about buying it, just do it! It has sound effects that you can turn on and off and light effects! Perfect beginner saber and/or stunt saber! All of the colors are very bright, and it really seems like an $100 lightsaber for $50. Couldn't have asked for a better saber and it's so fun! Definitely worth the price!

Worked right out of the package - no charge needed. I wanted to test it before I let it charge forever and it lit up and made the sounds it was supposed to. Easy to figure out how to change color. Sturdy, heavy when holding makes it feel "real" when using. VERY happy with this saber!

I was worried this was going to be short or flimsy but it was not! Sturdy build and bright LED's. Was perfect for my costume this year. I like how you can change the colors as well. It's very sturdy, so great for the kiddos play fighting and sword battles. Can't go wrong especially for the price.
