Reading 2011 Readers and Writers Notebook Grade K

OMG! It was exactly what I needed to complement the teacher and student edition. It comes with all the writing activities (grammar, high frequency words, handwriting, comprehension, writing workshop, decodable readers, etc.) all in one book. I used Scott Foresman Reading Street with my first grader but it was the 2007 edition, which meant I had to print out all the grammar, high frequency words, writing workshop, etc. worksheets from the cd-rom the school provided. In addition, I had to get the decodable readers ready every time we were going to use the because they were a separate set of books. With this edition I am able to the same amount of work but without the photocopying, which allows for more lesson planning, teaching and all of student’s work is organized in one location. The book is ready for immediate use. You can send the book home for parents to see what students are doing in school without fearing loss of paper. In addition, they can continue practicing their reading with the decodable readers found inside. Anyone familiar with Reading Street will be happy with this all in one book! I am psyched. FYI it contains everything for all 6 units.
