My new favorite deodorant! It works great, and smells wonderful. My only issue is when you push the deodorant up to use it it will sometimes fall back down so I have to push it up while applying which isn’t a big deal but slightly annoying. Love the plastic free packing as well. Will definitely be buying again!

After many months of trying to find a deodorant that didn't block my sweat glands, I landed on Lafe's. Have been a customer for several years now. I went online to reorder and found the only option was the cardboard push pop repackaging.I made it 3 uses into this product before both tubes were thrown in the garbage. First off, this is not the same smell...at all. The color of the product itself went from white to a yellow tinge. I thought maybe I could get around this. Secondly, the packing may be beneficial for some, however I don't appreciate having deodorant line the top of my tube, having to stick my finger in the end just to hold the deodorant in place to apply nor do I appreciate the tube beginning to unravel because I try to put the cap on. Lafe's does mention this as a potential issue on the product packaging, however I'm only 3 uses in and we've already begun.The final straw was the "wet stain" look on my t-shirt. The point of deodorant is to prevent wet t-shirt stains. The new formula is way too oily for what I'm used to with Lafe's. In every which way, this product redesign and reformulation has left me frustrated and disappointed.Lafe's, it's been fun but I'm moving on. You've changed too much for my liking and I've wasted my money on a subpar product.

Lafe's crystal deodorant is my go-to for hiking trips but for day-to-day I prefer a more traditional "paste" deodorant. I was excited to see they created just that so I had try it out. The packaging is nicely designed and the lavender scent is pleasant but perhaps a bit too light. Unfortunately Lafe's take on a more traditional deodorant is very oily. Rather than going on like a paste, like most natural deodorants, Lafe's take is more like a moisturiaing oil solid. The oil just sat in top of my skin and took a lot of work to get it to absorb. If I didn't massage it in, then I ended up with oil stains on my shirts. I could get past this but I also feel like I needed to reapply every couple of hours, so it became more work than it was worth. I'm not new to this type of deodorant and currently rotate through three different brands of plastic-free deodorant, so I'm not just extremely loyal to a single brand. The oiliness and need for frequent application are why I won't be repurchasing. I will continue to purchase the solid crystal for my hiking pack, though!

Why can’t all deodorants be packaged earth friendly? Small changes make big changes.Deodorant works well. I personally do not use deodorant much. If you are looking for something to take away the BO, this is it. If you are looking to attract flies, this isn’t it. This has a subtle scent, someone has to be in your pits to smell it. It takes away odor well.

I've been using Lafes extra strength liquid deodorants for years, and wanted to switch to a plastic free version. (trying to use less plastic). Within an hour I could smell sweat. It did not work as well as the other versions. I wish they would work on formulating a version based on the other products that work well.

Seems to work. Completely biodegradable cardboard push up which is great. But a bit thick. It’s a definite try. If you’re picky about completely natural at this one is for you.

*this review is not for the block of deodorant everyone else seems to be talking about. This of a stick of deodorant in a biodegradable tube *I love that the tube is biodegradable. The deodorant smells so clean and fresh. Unfortunately I start stinking a few goes after wearing it and without any strenuous activity. I am not normally a stinky BO person so I was very surprised to catch a whiff of myself several gotta after showering.

I love the smell and I think it lasts. I don't sweat a lot but when I do, it does the trick until I can reapply.
