Great replacement for my son's Kid Trax Ram.It's 15000 RPM, vs. 10000 RPM as the original so I assume it is also faster, although I can't say for sure, as it's been a while since the original gearbox broke down...Works as expected. Good value for the price.Very happy from this purchase. And my son is even happier...

We had a motor die in a Best Choice Products electric jeep. Finding the exact replacement motor was a challenge and not much less than the entire motor and gearbox assembly. I bought two units so the two drive motors would be matched. The only problem with this was that there were no wires on it to connect and no directions on how to wire it. I had to take the wires off the old motors and solder them on the new ones. Pay special attention to how the wires are connected -- they are connected to the opposite terminals on the two sides of the vehicle so that they turn in the same direction. Pretty inexpensive and simple fix for an expensive toy.

We have the Kid Trax PJ Mask toddler ride. I installed a 12v lead acid battery (Stick motor/gearbox) and my kid rode it for a day or two before breaking a gear. So, after seeing good reviews on this one, and the similar shape to the stock one, I decided I couldn’t go wrong. It’s been fantastic! I did have to trim the hole for the motor and remove a little bit of plastic to make it fit, but once I had it installed, it was golden. One other reviewer commented on it being too slow. It’s not too slow for a toddler ride, but would be for his 5 year old brother’s power wheels. For the smaller ride on toys running 12v, this is the one to get.

Installed the gear box on battery jeep, and it didn’t work. Opened the compartment and realized one of the gears had been installed upside down. Once I fixed that, it worked.

The Good: Gearbox runs smoothly and I like that these were slightly faster then stock. Easy drop in replacement, everything fit and lined up well. Easy access to the motor mounting screws (don't have to pull the entire gear case apart to do a motor swap).The Bad: 1 of the 2 motors burned up within 5 min of replacing last fall (I'm running a Ridgid 18v battery with a 25A breaker).Final thoughts: Overall I think it's a good deal for the money, and a cheap way to get the kids riding again. They are probably fine for a 12v application like it's designed for, but I wouldn't consider these to be heavy duty. The gearbox construction is all plastic whereas the factory one has (what I assume is brass) bushings in high wear area's (not a deal breaker for me personally). I ordered a gear puller as the teeth on the original are slightly different then these and put the old motor on the new gearbox and it's back to running as strong as every. I would try these again, but see if I could get them with 24v (preferably 570) motors and possibly buy 1 extra for backup/parts.

I was trying to boost up the power on my daughters jeep, but after seeing some videos in putting bigger motors on the 1WD setup you can see it does a type of torque steering when you over power that single wheel, so i saw there was mounts and placements for a second motor, so i upgraded the single 6v motor and gear setup to two of these 12V motors, the speed bumped up from the maybe 2.5mph to at least the 5mph of a 12v powerwheel, of course many people bump up to a 18v setup to get more speed, but i find it safer with the standard 12v, plus the two motors gives it way better traction and acceleration, there is way more torque as well.

Bought two of these to replace the existing gearbox on my daughter's best choice product ride-on toy after the gear on one of the original gearboxes broke - these fit perfectly and only required soldering on the wiring harness from the old gearboxes.
