I was in São Paulo for work, and my eyes were opened to many great coffees there. I don’t remember having this brand there, but I want to try all the typical ones, and this one is on the list.The taste is excellent, I brew mine Italian espresso style, little bit of butter, cinnamon, dash of almond extract and voila. Caffeine hits as expected for a dark roast, it’s there but not excessive, the sweet / fruity tones are muted due to the dark roast, but still present underneath, which is fun. Not a Smokey dark roast (French roast), but a medium-dark, nutty, toffee, low bitterness rounded off by lots of great flavors, for a darker roast. It is reminds me of the coffees in Brazil, which I love. I’ll continue to buy and have this coffee around, it’s highly recommended, and reasonably priced! Enjoy!
