Q: Is the diameter of this tray exactly 12"? i have an exact 12.5" clearance in my toaster oven, so i need a true 12" diameter pan.

Pretty sure it is exactly 12 inches - it fits on top of the ProBake Teflon Platinum Nonstick 12-Inch Pizza Pan - and comes all the way to the curved edge of the second pan. The rim on the New Star is included in the measurement. There are no protruding handles, etc. You should be ok w 12.5 inch clearance, although you could always bend it up a little on the edge if you need a 1/4 inch or so extra clearance. I prefer it for re-heating, not baking from scratch. For what it's worth, I try to use a pan or a mat under the screen because oil, cheese, or tomato sauce can drip through the grid when you're reheating pizza etc .

Q: Can this be used in a wood burning pizza oven with Temps up to 700 degree's?

Should be fine. Season with oil first and put it in your oven for twice the length of time you normally would have your pizza in there, before you actually use it for baking a pizza on. You will have to use a premium oil, like Olive oil (NOT virgin), Safflower oil or Avocado oil, which have a viscosity rating over 500 degrees.

Q: Is the rim included in the dimensions?

Yes. I think the dimensions are inclusive of the rim.
