We use for goats. Works GREAT!
Not too heavy, not too long. Perfect for keeping our goats off of us when we are feeding and walking around. They are all pets and STAY in our way or are always trying to stand up on us. Just one or two zaps and you no longer have to even turn it on. It's not too strong for them and doesn't cause enough pain to make them yell out. It would work perfectly for any small livestock and I think it would work great for dogs too if you're a walker. I love that it's rechargeable and you don't have to keep batteries for it. Highly recommend!

Protection for my small dog.
My shih tzu was attacked by a pitbull and luckily wasn't seriously hurt. But instead of being terrified to walk her in my neighborhood again, I bought this. You can't see the sparks until you touch something metal. But you can hear it. It looks like it packs a punch. Now I can walk my dog and not worry about her getting attacked or killed again. It's a great piece of mind for me! It's nice and lightweight, so it doesn't bother me holding on our walks. I hope I never need to use it, now I'm happy to know I'm safer! Seems great so far!

Does not hold a charge after a few months
Own a cattle operation. Bought 1 probe and initially loved it. After a few months the product stopped charging all together. Messaged the company regarding the issue, they reimbursed for a new probe. Bought a few more probes in September for our operation. After a couple months use of all the probes, they all have STOPPED HOLDING A CHARGE. A charge doesn’t even last a full day even if only using it here and there throughout the day.Messaged the company in hopes they would stand by their product and make it right since we have now had to switch to a different brand all together because none of these probes work and are putting the crew in danger.We are being told we don’t know how to use the equipment properly, and that the probe shafts are only good for a few months and then you have to purchase new shafts.The shafts have nothing to do with the product not holding a charge.Been messaging the company for almost a month now regarding this issue and no resolution to the issue.If looking for a cattle prod that you only need use of for a few months, this is it.If looking for a cattle prod that can’t hold a charge and puts you and your crew in danger because the product stops working suddenly with a full charge, this is your product.But I would not recommend and would suggest going with a different brand.
