A stunning rendition of the classic Heisie era Mechagodzilla. (the one from the 80's - 90's era). It perfectly captures the clean sleek design of the robot. all of Godzilla curves nicely sculpted in smooth sloping steel. This is perhaps the most widely recognized design of MechaG and generally the best looking. It stands as a nice clean up and modernization from the original pot bellied riveted beast of the 60's and 70's, while not yet getting the overly busy overly textured "modern" look of the Millenium era with all of its extra kibble and spiky bits.The figure itself is stunning. The sculpt is as always with SH Monsterarts/Figuarts absolutely screen accurate. It looks like you have a shooting model sitting on your desk. Paint is a nice bright matte silver with light weathering which gives the look and feel of titanium or brushed aluminun. The weathering is just enough to give shape and texture to the graceful curves of the figure. Particularly noteworthy is how much this paint scheme stands out from the other SH Monsterarts MechaG's and Mougera. Articulation is great. While not high end action figure quality it is roughly the equivalent of what a human actor would be able to achieve inside the MechaG costume. All joints are smooth and stable.Accessories include extra hands in the straight finger missile firing position. A replacement neck and tail to convert to flight mode. A replacement abdomen showing the stomach Maser and a rainbow "laser breath" effect part with a stand that resembles a small patch of forest.Sadly the figure did not include the Garuda flying assault ship and addon backpack for MechaG. That was available as an extremely rare web only offering that is exceptionally hard to find and expensive online today. MechaG is fine without it and not simply worthy but a "must have" for any 6" Godzilla, Kaiju or Giant Robot collection.Oh and a minor warning. This is a rather heavy figure with die cast feet and some internals. A normal Bandai stand will not support it in Flight Mode. If you wish to display it flying I strongly recomend getting yourself a "Flightpose" brand display stand. The type with the three poles that cradle the aircraft. Any articulated or arm based flight display stand will be unstable with this figures weight. Also this is really an adult collectable, not a childs toy. Recomended Age is 13+. At least unless you are really into a pile of extremely expensive smashed plastic bits. If you want 6" Godzilla figures for the younger crowd to run around with Necca has some outstanding vinyl and soft plastic offerings. If you want a super detailed highly articulated model to swoosh around your desk. This is for you.

Beautiful figure. Love it. Finish is near flawless. Superb sculpt Captured the spirit of this mechagodzilla. It has diecast feet.

For the Godzilla collector, this is a must! This Mechagodzilla has some nice weight to it. It moves in a lot of different ways. You can see a great review for this and all the S.H. MonsterArt Godzilla's on Youtube. We research and watched the videos before investing in this. Amazon has it for the best price (although all of these in the series are pricy). Once again, these are not for little kids. 12 and up should be mature enough to respectfully play with them. Awesome detail.Dec 7th, 2013 UPDATE: Had to return this item. Although the above information is still true...we discovered a few issues that I had to update to make you aware of:FIRST- the video on Amazon for this item shows that this item comes with the: S.H MonsterArts Garuda Mecha-Godzilla Effect UX-01-92 which is a "Jet pack" and accessories "shock anchors, plasma grenade"...this is NOT TRUE. These items are not part of this action figure. Upon looking..they are only available on ebay for $350.00-$400.00 (that's right)! So, I hope Amazon removes the video because of this fact.SECOND- Upon opening, we discovered the "mega buster" (laser w/ stand) is to big to fit into his mouth...unlike the other S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla Figures "lasers" which all can be place into their mouth for full realization of the effect.THIRD- Unfortunately, the model we received had some issues with the foot and arm. The foot would pop off due to a defect in the knob that was holding it. The arm easily falls off when you move it slightly. The hip, on both legs, is terribly squeaky...not a big deal, but in combo with the other items it was just too much.We are hoping that this is just the "lemon" of the group...because the other S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla's that we have purchased are doing great with no parts falling off.Even thought this list is big...our BIGGEST disappointment was that it didn't come with the S.H MonsterArts Garuda Mecha-Godzilla Effect UX-01-92 as we thought it would from the Amazon video.Amazon is just wonderful about returns, so we have full confidence that we will get the right one on the next try!Good luck!

昭和メカゴジラは般若のようで如何にも機械的でカッコイイです三式機龍も今風かつ生物的格好良さがありますし、武装も豊富ですしかし、なんといってもvs版メカゴジラが一番だと思うのは私だけでしょうか？そんな筈はない、筈です…よね？未来を思わせる滑らかなデザイン対ゴジラ用必殺兵器の数々故障が多いのは、強すぎて話が終わってしまう為のテコ入れなはず！本当はスペースゴジラとだって渡り合えたはず‼︎そんなあの頃の擽ったい記憶がダイキャストと共に目覚めます！ファンならずともこのデザインの前には感嘆することでしょう！
