Love the color and consistency. Apply a primer first, I use MILK® Makeup primer. Use a sponge to liberally apply it.

So I really wanted to use their make up , but unfortunately not a lot of colors to choose from, bought shortbread and in the picture you can see in th purple circle their foundation , good consistency and coverage just the wrong color , if they put out in the market a more yellowish light tones , will definitely try them .

Carter Beauty By Marissa Carter Full Measure HD FoundationI still haven't found the magic combination for this to work for my skin during cold weather but I was able to test it while the temperature was in the 80s. The color Creme Brulee is a perfect match for my skin tone and I normally wear Clinique Beyond Perfecting in Ivory 28CN which is a heavy-duty full coverage foundation. This is a full coverage foundation that is actually more like a serum foundation. It will probably work best for those with super oily or combination skin.The best way to apply this is with a synthetic brush or your fingertips. I got the best and most coverage with my fingers. I added a drop or two of a hydrating serum (l"Oreal HA) which made this blend and sit a lot better. It lasted a good 6 hours before my dry skin took over with the cold weather. It lasted about 8 hours for me on a hot day.The applicator is sort of like a hockey stick so you need to be aware that since this is a very liquid foundation, it might be dispensed too quickly. I do love the color of this since it is so natural looking and I am going to figure out how to make this work for my skin.

I have been using this foundation but nothing "wow". It's sort of "meh" for me. It's not like anything is terribly wrong but I don't love it. The consistency is fine....not runny at all and not too thick. The color is a bit pale even for my fair skin but it works. No weird smell. No irritation and doesn't cause acne. I don't know if mine broke inside but all I have for an applicator is a tube that is slightly curved at the end. I think it had a pump or something but mine was broken. Not really a problem, I just get it on the tubing and apply it to a sponge. I do look a bit oily as the day goes on but nothing horrific. I don't know. I just have a feeling when I really love a foundation and this isn't it. I wanted to love it because it was something new to me. There aren't hardly any shades. Probably would not purchase again.

I got this for my daughter-in-law, and the following is her review:I was worried about getting the right color- it’s hard enough when you can see it in person! I left the decision up to my 7-year-old, and she nailed it. I normally wear ‘creamy natural’ or ‘L5” in CoverGirl, and I got the ‘crème Brulee in this, and it is the perfect shade for me. The swatches made the decision a lot easier. I love the bottle and the pump top, and one small squirt provides ample coverage. I only wear this and mascara and sometimes concealer for acne, and this provides a nice smooth natural finish to my face. It lasts all day and looks great. This foundation is my favorite yet!

I need full coverage foundation for my textured skin, but I hate the feeling of a thick foundation. This Carter Beauty By Marissa Carter Full Measure HD Foundation gives me that full coverage I need without feeling thick or cakey on my skin. It feels light as air going on. It does not cake up or cling to my dry patches. It works well with my moisturizer too. Also, makeup bases tend to turn a darker color on my skin, but this foundation stayed true and blended into my skin perfectly. It looked like my skin only better.

I totally love this foundation! It is so moisturizing. Gives a nice glow, and has some nice shades.
