Best Friends by Sheri The Original Calming Donut Dog and Cat Bed in Shag Fur, Taupe, Small, 23x23

I bought this bed (2 of them, actually) with the hopes that our 3 dogs would prefer it to the couch. It worked! This bed is everything I hoped it would be. I ordered 2 of the size XL, thinking they might be smaller than advertised--they are HUGE! As you can see, all 3 of our dogs fit in one bed (the 2 larger dogs are about 50-60lbs, and the little guy is about 15-20lbs). I'm sure a large would have worked fine. Our dogs LOVE this bed! It's comfy, snuggly, and they just melt into it. It's also an attractive color and doesn't show any dirt or hair. One of the dogs already chewed a hole in it, but I was able to sew it up and you can't even tell because of the shag. I haven't tried washing it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up in the washing machine, but the zippers for the cover seem to be easy to access. My only complaint is that the stuffing in the bottom section is a little thin & lumpy, but the dogs don't seem to mind, and the side bolster is well-stuffed. I can't tell you how much my dogs love this bed! It's the only place they want to sleep now! I will definitely purchase this bed again when these wear out!

Literally THE BEST. Sure, other sell ones that are comparable and maybe slightly cheaper but please do not purchase those cause you’ll be disappointed when you realize they don’t either unzip from the actual donut to just pop in the wash really quick with the towels or stay super supportive after months and months of use. I bought a different smaller size when my puppy was two months old and wanted a bigger one and decided to kind of splurge and get this original nicer version. TOTALLY WORTH IT! It’s supportive of his head wallet allows him to snuggle easily into the bed and keeps him feeling safe and comfortable and very, very easy to take apart to clean and throw back on as soon as you’re done with the wash. I would literally give this more stars if I could, and I bought some as Christmas gifts for my neighbors and my dad’s pups. I personally have a Shetland sheepdog that’s about 20 pounds and his best friend is a mini Aussie ~25lbs (about the same stature and size) but the other two I purchased were for labs, 58 pounds and 80 pounds… and they all love & fit this same size. It’s like a one stop shop for all dogs that aren’t tiny or extra large. I’ve attached a photo of my pup in it as well as one of the labs in it so you can see how well it fits for both breeds.

My dog loooooooooooves this bed. We take it everywhere. He does his little dog dance to fluff the middle around to get it exactly like he wants it and he falls right to sleep. It’s his #1 place to nap. We had other beds before this one but none that he used consistently. None that he looked for to lay down in. Especially now that he is nearing 14 years, his body isn’t what it used to be. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. We have also dog sit a couple of friends dogs who have also bought this bed since seeing it. Their dogs would come over and use it also and not use other beds. Our dog is a cockapoo he gives it 4 paws up. ❤️

We have purchased these for several years for two dogs. The dogs love how soft and cozy they are and they look nice in a room. We also take ours in the car for long roadtrips as well as the dogs seem to have a less stressful commute when they have their beds to settle down in. They are machine washable which is great. They do lose that soft and cozy part over time, but I feel like the amount of life you get out of them is typical for a dog bed getting daily use. We've bought them on 3 different occasions but always with roughly 2 years of use in between. We even keep the old/well loved beds after we replace with new and put in other areas of the house that the dogs may want to hang out in, like my husband's workshop and the basement and keep the nice/new ones in the living room to look good with the decor. I don't see any reason we would not buy these again in the future when it's time to replace, but don't expect to need again for another couple of years. Our dogs are 4 years old and 7 years old, small and medium breed. In my opinion, while this bed does have decent support, it does not provide a lot of extra/specific orthopedic support if you are looking for something firm for arthritis, etc. in an older dog. For that situation we wholeheartedly recommend a Bully Bed. It gave years of extra life and comfort to our basset hound. Until that change is needed for our current dogs, this bed does the job well for the stage of life they are currently in and I recommend.

My dog loves it but what I really love is that you can wash it without it falling apart. The stuffing is contained in two pieces that you can wash and dry. You can then wash and dry the cover. The plushness of the material also means junk doesn’t get caught in any yarns. Buying another for the other doggie.

So fluffy. My puppy looks lost when she is in the bed. Pretty shade of rose.

I love this bed! So does my puppy!!!It is SO warm and soft. He snuggles up in it. I just ordered another one for daytime use! Washable too!!!
