This is actually a quite well-made and thought out product, something which is of use to those with limited body flexibility / arm-movement etc; and of course the elderly.The device is constructed from aluminium (shaft), with a silicone grip area. The instructions show using whilst actually sitting, but many may fine it easier to stand (assuming sufficient movement of the arm to just move round slightly). Either way, this is quite easy to use, and under the circumstances probably as good as you’ll get.Overall, a good product. The device grips the toilet tissue sufficiently. It does take a little practice though to find the best way gripping and the amount needed – probably a bit more than the instructions show. You can grip and wrap round a bit, which would make it less likely to, well you know what I mean. That though might make it more difficult to release. Like many things, practice makes perfect! Being aluminium and silicone, it is at least very easy to hygienically clean.I hope that you have found this helpful.

It is awkward to manipulate and I have not really got comfortable using it.Very difficult to use. Must use excess amount of toilet paper to get it to stay in slot.Then the spring at the release button keeps jamming and it's hard to unjam to be able to use again.If you have had a hip replacement this item isn't user friendly.❗️❗️❗️Note:With this tool you have to push tissue paper or a wet wipe in the opening and wipe from the front backwards.Wet wipes hold better than dry tissue paper.Overall, it may be practical but it will be a nightmare for people with hip replacement or with arthritis.This is not a product i would recommend for people in this situation.

I have a disease called Ankylosing spondylitis which limit me to movement and flare-up in joints so unfortunately at times it causes me to not be able to do the simplest of things like wiping my bottom. This tool is great, it does take a time to figure it out BUT it does help.The material is hard wearing and washable...I'm happy

This is really good quality, so it's a shame that it's a bit awkward to use, and the "mouth" that opens and closes sometimes does not close all the way.

Unfortunately, I just can't get on with this. I find it very awkward to operate and the toilet paper keeps falling off. It's a good idea but not great in practice. If you have used a similar device and liked it, then I would say try this one as it seems to be well-made and good quality. It just wasn't for me.
