I bought this gazebo as protection against the sun and light rain while grilling. Having the side awnings appealed to me as a way to shield me a bit better from the sun and elements . The awnings will extend the shade by twice the width of the gazebo when fully open. I also like how they provide shade when the sun is low on the horizon, by having them lowered. The design of the canopy allows water to run off easily and not pool. I chose to treat the canopy with a weather proofing spray for good measure, though it does seem to have some initial weather proofing. The gazebo feels sturdy enough for my needs to leave up all season. It doesn’t seem much affected by normal wind and rain. I will probably remove the cover over the winter so it doesn’t get weighted down by snow. I secured it to my deck with lag bolts on each corner to prevent it catching the wind. The cutout design of the canopy does help wind and warm air vent. I found the assembly pretty straightforward on my own, but I’m pretty good at building things. All the pieces were clearly labeled and I was able to follow the instructions. Everything fit together without need for any modification. For the price, I think it is decent. I like the amount of space it provides to work and the 2 side tables for holding things I need. The only improvement would be some hooks, but command hooks do the trick nicely.

Instruction manuel you cant tell anything apart, i suggest watch the video instruction instead. They need to redo instruction manels

Summary: This is a great looking gazebo that is great for protection from sun and light rain. Many handy features such as shelves, hooks. For windier conditions, add sandbags. Assembly is not super fast.My experience: I can do basic assembly fairly well, and i was able to do this without mistakes, but the instructions are not very detailed. So i laid all the parts out and that helped me guess what to do when i didnt understand the instructions. And in the end it wasnt difficult, but my slow approach took around an hour. Next time will be faster. I did add sandbags, because i just dont want this to move much if it gets windy. The result looks really good!5 stars for a great looking gazebo! For me, the challenges to build it are small compared with the very nice looking result.

The sun shine is so fierce in my backyard. Especially in the afternoon. I need shadow in my backyard for BBQ. This gazebo is easy to assemble. My daughter was so excited and followed the instructions. Assembled with my wife’s assistant. My daughter just make a minor mistake that was put one side shadow upside down but it easy to fix.This gazebo is high enough to enjoy grills and relaxing.To withstand strong winds. I think the hard part is put the gazebo with foundation under the ground. I used 1/4 X 2- 1/4 in wedge anchors (for heavy duty concrete use) and concrete retaining blocks.P. S.: I use concrete drill bit drilled holes. Remember, mark holes and drill holes one at the time. Make adjustments at the beginning. Be careful, if you drill holes not correct, you cannot tide gazebo and concrete foundations together.

We bought this grill cover for a yard project that will begin after HOA approval. It will work great to cover our grill while cooking, with the top vent to exhaust any extra heat or smoke. The side tray provides the connivence of a small table to hold plates or trays to be used for food that has been finished, the side shade covers against the sun cooking the user of the grill. Overall very pleased with this purchase and excited to add it to our grill expirrence.

I bought this and it was easy to assemble, one windy day and the thing fell apart...very weak. Contacted the supplier, they won't do anything.

If you have some what of a mechanical mind you can get past the poor direction. You can not get over the quality of the canvas, I am hoping to get a year out of it. In my opinion not worth the money.

This gazebo tent is going to work great for my needs. I plan on using it for shade in the summer during events. It comes apart in a lot of pieces which is good if you need to take it apart during the winter. It’s a big object so make sure you plan for the time it takes to assemble. It took me about 1/2 an hour. Seems steady enough to me that it won’t fly away when using yard staples or if anchoring to a deck.
