One of my favorite Lego Star Wars sets ever...and that’s saying a lot!
I am an adult Star Wars Lego fan and in my opinion this is absolutely one of the best of its kind designed in the past several years. At a retail price of $100 this is a steal but found for less is grand larceny. Because this character is a sphere, the build is very different and intriguing than other spaceships or scenes. The color-scheme in my mind is beautiful and the end result is fantastic. You can rotate one side and his lighter will come out of the front! Also, an amazing touch is that his head when the body is moved will bobble like the “real” BB8!The build itself is not terribly challenging and is actually quite fast. With a sphere though, just make sure the pieces are in the right place and double check before moving on. If not it will bite you in the end!The stand is great in that it has the Ultimate Collector Series-type plaque/sticker but BB8 actually just rests in the stand like a cradle. Very cool! Lastly, it comes with a regular-sized BB8 minfigure which is just a fantastic touch. An awesome gift, great build and beautiful display piece, your Lego Star Wars fan will love this. I know I do!If you enjoyed this review, I would very much appreciate a Like! :-)

she suggested Lego's and I thought that's a wicked cool idea because I have tried everything I could think ...
I take care of my elderly father and I asked his pain management doctor if she could think of anything for him to keep his hands and mind busy, she suggested Lego's and I thought that's a wicked cool idea because I have tried everything I could think of, small wood work things, word find books, coloring books, puzzles and now Lego's. So to encourage him to work on his very simple Lego set I bought myself this BB-8 set. I was completely ignorant as to how much Lego’s had advanced. When I opened the BB-8 box I was stunned and in shock. I am 47 and I have not 'played' with Lego's in a very, very long time so I got him a very simple set and I bought this 'hell monster' that I love & am still working on, so I give it 5 Stars because it is awesome and it is not Lego’s of old, when I opened it “It’s a trap!” were the first words that popped into my head! If you are an older person do not buy Lego's blindly. REALLY read the description and prepare yourself for the shock! LOL. It truly is an amazing project and it is looking beautiful so far. If you enjoy a challenge I highly recommend. BTW my dad hasn't even touched his little truck Lego. SMH

A Must-Have for Star Wars Fans and LEGO Enthusiasts!
I bought this LEGO BB-8 set for my husband, who is a die-hard Star Wars fan. He’s the kind of guy who keeps his Star Wars toys in mint condition, unopened and untouched. So, I wasn't sure if this would be built or just added to his collection. However, being an engineer, he couldn't resist the challenge and dove right into building it. He enjoyed every moment of the assembly process, and the result is fantastic. Now, BB-8 has a special place among his prized possessions. Looks like we’re starting a new collection adventure...oh my!This set is a must-have for both Star Wars and LEGO lovers.

Nice Lego
My son loved this Lego and he is well over 18. He is a fan of Star Wars so that helped. Easy to put together and has lots of fun features. Won't fall apart as soon as you touch it like some of the other Legos.

Great Build, Pricey but 100% Worth Money!
This little guy took me about 4 hours (with a few breaks) to build. His head moves when you turn one of the circles on his side and his little torch even comes out a "door" on the front by turning the circle on the other side. Easy to assemble with instructions, I didn't have any issues besides missing two flat 2x4 pieces (which I luckily had in a Lego drawer in my basement). Kind of pricey but it's expected considering that BB-8 is discontinued by Lego. Overall very happy with my purchase!

Review from a 41 year old cheap nerd.
The set was great and I had a blast assembling it! I played with the legos as a kid but never actually had a “set.” This is actually only my 2nd LEGO set I have assembled. The instructions were great and very easy to follow and it appeared, they included extra pieces as well. I guess the complaint I have is, it can be completed in a few hours and wasn’t very challenging. I have to take 1 star away, because I paid $32 an hour for the entertainment? I think completely LEGO sets, is a more expensive addiction than a narcotic habit. All being said, it was a blast and looks great!

Love BB-8!!
This LEGO set is so awesome. So much fun to build and I love the little display stand build. Great for kids to build and play with and also great for adults who crave a little bit of creativity in their life.. especially if they are Star Wars fans! The price per piece count can’t be beat either. Highly recommend this set
