Great product but not for me
These were easy to install in a matter of minutes. But it lifted the truck up a little too high for my liking and caused to tip over a lot easier. No issues with the part so it still gets 5 stars.

Truck is a lot higher!
I have a V1 with wide Maxx kit. This makes the truck a lot higher looks real good! No more chassis slap! The only thing is now the axles are always at an angle and also the space where the shock mounts in the stock position is now empty and filled with just the screw instead of the ball joint. Trucks has a higher center of gravity but the benefits are all worth it! Good cheap upgrade! These are metal also.

Does the job, could be thicker
They do the job they were built for, but they could be thicker than they are. If you're doing some hard bashing, they could break in the middle of the plate depending on your set-up, or how heavy you run your rig. My set lasted roughly 4 sessions before the RF plate broke in half. There are other, heavier duty plates on the market for a little more.

Mighty maxx
I wanted to help the steering and just the slap of the tires when turning . After reviewing a lot of reviews about 100 people said that these should help with that so I’m gonna try them out definitely made my max into a mighty max.

Great budget suspension lift
Fits Maxx v2 and allows almost full travel of original GT-Maxx shocks before skid plate touches ground. About 1/2" lift which raises center of gravity but doesn't seem to affect handling much. Can be corrected by spring pre-load and higher weight shock oil and tinker with mounting positions. Light bashing with no chassis slap on the first couple sessions. Would recommend this as a great suspension lift on a budget.

Like the concept but…
I just wasn’t crazy about how this mounts to the car. Seems like it’s actually nice and sturdy where it mounts to the car but the shock mount on the other hand, I don’t care for how basically the shock mounts to the side of this thing. In my opinion, that just puts way too much stress on that little screw that bolts the shock to the side of it. As far as overall usability, I don’t think I would use this with any other coil spring unless you have those fairly soft, progressive VG racing springs, which is pretty much the reason why I bought it, and I will say, these go well with those soft springs, because it actually allows you to not have to crank so much preload on the springs but it actually allows the car to sit closer to its factory ride height and you get to use a lot more of the spring.

Helps Prevent Chassis Slap
adding these prevents the horrible chassis slap on jumps the maxx has. this is also good alternative to using the sledge shocks in rear as gives the rear about 10-15mm more clearance and utilizes more of the shock travel before bottoming out (sledge rear shocks are almost bolt on and are longer. many youtube videos on this to prevent chassis slap also)
