We ordered the red 20'x20'x20' sun shade, and couldn't be more pleased. We have 4 kids under the age of 8, and I can't tell you what a life saver it is to have a little bit of shade in the pool. No one gets overexposed to the sun, no burns all summer long with only one application of sunscreen, and it doesn't cool the temperature in the pool. The material is not completely solid, so it lets filtered sunlight through, as well as rain, keeping it from getting weighed down. We have an 18' round pool, and it does a perfect job of allowing for a good ratio of shaded pool to full sun pool.Installation was easy enough, but I'd recommend having someone help out to hold it taught. The anchors it came with were more than adequate. As you can see from my picture, we have two ends tied to mature trees in the yard, and one end anchored to the back of our house. I used lengths of 550 instead of rope- inexpensive and strong. Since installing, we have had several severe storms with high winds and the sail has stayed in place! Color hasn't faded, and it's easy to clean with a hose (or a good rainstorm). Highly recommend, would purchase again.

I installed three of these 8 x 8 x 8 sails a year ago and the sails themselves have held up well. However, the rings at the corners have badly rusted. I finally replaced them with stainless steel split rings. The rope that came with them completed rotted away in the sun after a year so I replaced the rope with stainless wire rope, aluminum swages, and light-duty turnbuckles. Hopefully that will hold for a while.These are surprisingly tricky to install because the anchor points at the corners have to be very carefully placed to ensure equal tension on all three sides. But once I found the correct placements, they were taut and secure and looked good.

Awesome shade, blocks a lot of sunlight

We needed some shade over our pool here in FL to reduce the relentless sun. This 16'x16'x16' triangular shade did the job and it looks really nice! I chose NOT to use the supplied rope and instead went with three 10 foot lengths of 1/8" wire "rope" from our local Ace Hardware. The hardest part was finding a solid wood beam in the roof soffit area to attach the supplied D ring to the house. I used my own 2 inch #10 wood screws for piece of mind. No fear of the D-rings pulling out after tensioning the wire cables. I tied the excess wire back and applied tie wraps to make it look good. The shade's held up very well in the heavy thunderstorms we've had in the past couple of days. We'll see if I keep it up for any tropical storm conditions...

We didn’t put it up. We ordered the beige and it arrived SO yellow. Material felt very cheap.. we’ve been buying a similar product from Costco for years and this doesn’t compare at all.

This was easy to install, and did exactly what I expected it to do. It is beautiful and practical at a great price.

The color is great! We definitely needed some shade over our pool. These went up easy and I could not be happier with them! They really make the pool tolerable in hottest part of FL day!
