I've had my 3-toed box turtle for 41 years. It was time to move her out of the $300 class reptile habitat. This is a really good solution. I was a little challenged by the assembly not easily identifying which pieces face out. It's lightweight so I don't recommend using it outdoors. I do wish they had a punch out for electrical cords. I carved my own and it was a messy job, splintering the frame on top. The latches are flimsy metal that bend out of true easily, but overall this is adequate.

After looking at different pet stores for a home for our Herman's tortoise we decided to look on Amazon and came across this cage. All the aquariums we found local pet stores where two to $300 and pretty small. This cage is quite large. Instructions were very easy and I put it together around myself in about 2 hours but that's with two young kids running in and out and stopping me. The hardest part about putting it together was taking the plastic off of the plexiglass.In general it's a very sturdy cage. Very easy to clean. Very roomy. I initially liked the place to hang the lights and heat lamp but it's too high to keep temperature so we don't use it.Also the top opens and had 2 small pieces of wood that you prop the top on when u want to open it. We ended up removing these because when not in an up position the fall down and down allow you to close the top all the way.

Good size and design, but quality is very poor. Lids don’t align properly. Screws and hardware are cheap and fragile. I do not recommend this; especially for the high cost and shipping price.

I like this product, but I did not like how the paper was stuck onto the plastic piece on the cage. It was very hard to peel off. Otherwise, it is decent for the price

Great house for our tutle just not that stable.
