Does not fit the wire size advertised.
Says it fits 500’s but it does not, at least not with the insulation on it. Also the ends do not stay inside the square tube handle. I would pass on this one as I’m most likely returning it.

hook 'C's will puncture wiring insulation
the sharper edge and/or points/tips of the two 'C's -- they damaged my UF 350 mcm wiring. Bad design. Plus the square AL arms, they also bent a bit holding the ends that snap in. Do not buy this product, its not up to the quality of other manufacturers.

Opening not wide enough
The opening of the product is not wide enough. I tried to bend 500 kcmil thhn and wasn’t able. I even tried to slip the wire through opening and couldn’t. The design is ok but should be able to set jaws in place. Slips out to easily. Would not recommend purchasing this item.
