Soft, zippers are sturdy and compact.

I like the separate compartments so pieces don't tangle and the zippers so nothing slips out. Didn't like that its a bit bulky and doesn't stay closed. I clipped mine with a hair clip to improvise. Fine if it's going in luggage, too bulky for a purse. Overall I liked it and it's velvety soft.

As you see, it's big enough to store my digital camera. Material is thick and fuzzy, and feels sturdy enough. It's basically a double-end bag sawn together to make a 4 pocket bag, so if you really need to, you can cut the middle threads to use them separately. But it won't stay closed when folded up, so you would need a rubber band or something to keep the footprint small...or don't care about it and keep it open like me. The color is nice dark orange, as shown on the pic. Zipper is easy to use and strong. When I washed it, I did not see any color bleeding out, so I think it's a stable material as well. Overall I do recommend for people who doesn't care about tiny details.

It’s too bulky for travel and wish each flap a zipped compartment on each side instead of just being one sided, but gets the job done.
