It works
My very first bottle of this stuff I purchased at the aquatics shop, so once ran out was quite pleased to find the same thing on Amazon. I used the 3 day treatment 3 or 4 times now. It works 100% on round snails (that youâd get from plants) however it is harder with spiral cone ones. And I truly do not believe itâs the solution not working, but more the fact that these snails tend to hide in daylight, meaning the solution might not get to them. For this reason I mainly use the solution in the evening (before bed time) as thatâs when these snails come out. It definitely works and has killed majority of snails, while fish and other creatures within the tank were absolutely fine. Applied multiple treatments with couple weeks intervals and will keep using if I feel the snail problem is getting out of control.

Be patient
Was sceptical especially with other reviews of fish deaths etc. I had a complete snail infestation and this was the last resort.I bought assassin snails but they couldnât keep up with the infestation. So gave this a go.First thing I did was take my assassin snails out and kept them in a separate plastic gold fish tank, manually refreshing their water every week. Donât want to kill them!I then applied the snail killer drops to the tank. Mine is 110 litre so went with the guide. At first it didnât seem to have an affect. I realised that as I use carbon in my filter the snail killer was being absorbed into the carbon and hence neutralising its affects. So I left it 14 days and then took the carbon filter element out and reapplied. Wow started to do the job.It has taken at least 2 months to get the tank clear with repeated steps and without the carbon in the filter, however as I have found with other medicines added to the tank make sure to remove any carbon based matter from your filter to ensure it works ok.Plus, as well as the snail killer I also used a net to scoop snails off the glass at same time and put them in sink with boiled water as a double whammy as it were. 14days is when the eggs hatch and snails come back so is when I reapplied it. Worth it but read the instructions and be patient! No fish deaths in applying this for the fish I have in My tank has4 peppered corys6 neon terra,3 ottos.Note the ottos seemed to go about crazy each time I applied the snail killer but chilled out after a couple of hours
