It works
My very first bottle of this stuff I purchased at the aquatics shop, so once ran out was quite pleased to find the same thing on Amazon. I used the 3 day treatment 3 or 4 times now. It works 100% on round snails (that you’d get from plants) however it is harder with spiral cone ones. And I truly do not believe it’s the solution not working, but more the fact that these snails tend to hide in daylight, meaning the solution might not get to them. For this reason I mainly use the solution in the evening (before bed time) as that’s when these snails come out. It definitely works and has killed majority of snails, while fish and other creatures within the tank were absolutely fine. Applied multiple treatments with couple weeks intervals and will keep using if I feel the snail problem is getting out of control.

Effective but needs a few attempts
I purchased this treatment as I had an unwelcome explosion of bladder snails following the introduction of some new plants (despite thoroughly inspecting them and performing an alum dip). The instructions are easy to follow and the dropper is well designed so you only need a light squeeze on the teat to accurately dispense the required drops of solution.Within an hour of each treatment, snails were climbing up the tank sides to the waterline and could simply be picked out. Others dropped to the gravel and I sucked them out with a python. It has taken three separate rounds of 3 day treatments to eventually get on top of the issue as it was severe (a lot can happen during a fortnight's holiday). My African Dwarf Frogs and Tetras have shown no ill effects from the treatment and it didn't cause any water cloudiness or discolouration.I've used ESHA products previously and they seem to be quality products at a good price. This treatment can also be used as a plant dip, so I will be sure to use this in future to minimise the risk of new introducing more snails.

Great stuff
Great stuff I had around 50-100 plus snails taking up camp in my aquarium, used this and did the job, no more snails, although it did result in 5 of my fish dying which was unfortunate after reading in it was safe to use with fish

Does what is states.
Plauged by snails after buying aquarium plants? This might just be your saviour. Easy to dose, and seemed to work after just a few days.

It killed our fish too 😢
Although effective on snails it killed my daughters Japanese fighter and bristle nose, an any1 with autistic children know this can be devastating!! An how bad do I feel cos I was the one that put the stuff in the tank... devastated 💔

Snail Infestation gone. Dont bother with "humane" snail traps as they ALWAYS leave eggs behind
I had a suddon boom or snails during lockdown in my angel breeding tanks thanks to purchasing plants online.Love this stuff been using it for years, im on day 2 treatment and already my tank gravel is littered with white snail shells and my Angel pair are cleaning a site to lay so they clearly aint bothered by the treatments. The squeezy bottle and informative leaflet makles this simple enough for any aquarist to use safely without fish loss.Dont bother with "humane" snail traps as they ALWAYS leave eggs behind.
