Great Bargain!
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. Everything was really nice - the rod, reel, net, lures, carrying bag. He feels like a grown-up and not a little kid like he did with his Spider-Man rod and reel. The tackle box was a little small and flimsy but overall for the price this product is a great bargain! Now my son wants one. He is 51.

PERFECT gift for a 5-12 year old!
We purchased this fishing pole set for my nephew. He was so excited! When they came out to go fishing, his heart was broken. We tried and tried to get the real to work but it wouldn’t. He had to wait over a month and a half because of the pandemic to come out to use his brand new pole. Because of having to wait we are now outside of our return window. Very disappointing.

Real fishing combo in kid-friendly package
Our 5 year old daughter has been begging us to buy her a fishing pole but all I expected to be able to find that was a manageable size for her was a toy rod/reel that wouldn’t really hold up on a fishing trip. I was intrigued that this one could collapse into a small package and came with everything you’d need to get started, and after getting it was surprised to see how well made it seems to be. It extends to be quite long but is light and she’s able to handle it well. She’s super excited about it and her two year old brother is already running around with it too - they’re pretty eager to go fishing with grandad and test out the new fishing pole. I think ease of use with the single button and short handle will be perfect for her, plus the kit came with little pamphlet with kid-friendly instructions on tying a decent fishing knot and other helpful/fun tips. Really satisfied with the purchase!

It very fun to use
A review by my 10 year old son: “It is strong and very easy to cast, but it did get tangled after a bit. The bait was really good, especially the hard lure. It helped cast really far. The squids were easy to use and fun. The tackle box has lots of lures.”
