High-Quality Insulation That Gets the Job Done
I recently purchased the VIVOSUN Double Bubble Reflective Foil Insulation, and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with this product. First and foremost, one of the best things about this insulation is that it has absolutely no odor whatsoever. This was a huge relief to me, as I was concerned about having any unpleasant smells in my home. The quality of the VIVOSUN Double Bubble Reflective Foil Insulation is top-notch as well. It feels very durable and well-made, and I have no doubt that it will last a long time. The reflective foil layer also adds an extra layer of insulation and helps to reflect heat away from my home, which is particularly helpful during the summer months.I was also pleasantly surprised by how well this insulation worked on my portable AC exhaust hose. It fit perfectly around the hose and helped to keep the hot air out of my home. The 10mm size bubble film provided just the right amount of insulation, and I noticed a significant decrease in the temperature in my room after installing it (i.e., 112 degrees Fahrenheit down to 83 degrees Fahrenheit). I used Aluminum Foil Tape, not duct tape.Overall, I highly recommend the VIVOSUN Double Bubble Reflective Foil Insulation. It is an excellent product that is well-made, effective, and easy to install. Whether you're looking to weatherproof your attic, windows, garages, or portable AC exhaust hoses, this insulation is a great choice that won't disappoint.

I wish I stumbled on this sooner!
I don't know how I stumbled across this product but boy and I glad I did. I have portable AC units for the summer. As anyone who has these units, the exhaust hose puts out quite a bit of heat. This works great for that! I did have a problem at first wrapping the hose only because this is all new to me and I was hot and cranky! But once I had it on, it worked like a charm. No more excess heat filling up the room. I took another reviewers suggestion and bought vapor barrier tape which helps keep the insulation in place. THANK YOU! Definately recommend this and glad I have the double pack!

Perfect for wrapping portable AC exhaust pipe
I have tried other products to wrap the heat pipe from a portable AC unit in the past. I thought of this stuff thinking I could coil it around the pipe. It seems other people had the same idea looking at the reviews. I will say that this stuff is made very well, it's way more durable than I thought it was going to be! I'm glad I got the double roll. Wrapping an extended 5 ft heat pipe takes just over one of the 25-ft rolls. Granted you may be able to make the wraps a little less tight and get it to work, but I didn't want to redo it all again.I will tell you in order to get it to stay and to prevent additional heat leakage You really want to wrap it in another type of tape over top once you're done wrapping it. I used a 4-in wide vapor barrier tape. Basically shrink wrap tape, extremely sticky stuff. It's a pain to work with, but if you take the time to do it right you won't regret it. And you'll be able to seal up any small gaps and leaks. I've even used it to seal up the slats in the window. You can get the adhesive off for the most part, but if it's in the sun it definitely becomes a pain in the ass to get off!I found 180 ft roll of that vapor barrier tape on Amazon here for about $25 and it's good for all sorts of stuff. One thing that I may do next time I have to wrap one of these heat pipes is cut the 6-in wide insulated bubble wrap in half, to make two 3-in wide by 25 ft strips. I think that would allow a little more flexibility to do turns and angles in the tubing. But I would still wrap it with another tape for sure. I would think you could also use gaffer's tape or gorilla tape, even basic duct tape would work fine. But it makes a huge difference in additional heat leakage from the pipe even after wrapping in the bubble wrap.Good luck ✌️!

Inexpensive but Effective
I used this to wrap an under bed air conditioning vent. Worked perfectly, it's able to hold in the temperature. Easy material to work with, enough to wrap around my duct a few times. Great price.

Helps reduce heat!
Using this on my PAC exhaust hose. Held perfectly together with aluminum tape. Easy to cut and wrap. Works like a charm. Definitely keeps the area around the hose from getting super hot. It gets warm to the touch, but seems to keep the heat from spreading to the surrounding area. Before this, the whole corner the AC was in would get crazy hot, preventing the AC from working at full capacity. Now, it works and cools much better. Still have a ton left over, plenty to use for several seasons/years.

Work just great. Great price too!
Used this insulation, as others did, to wrap the output hose of a portable air conditioner. Until I did this, the device was pretty much useless because the hose radiated so much heat that it negated the effect of the air conditioner.Fastened the insulation in-place with 3M foil tape. Working just great!I did not rate "adhesion" because it's not "sticky." You need tape to hold it in place. No stars removed; this is just as expected.
