Works well /gets the job done been having it for a couple of years now.

Used on Highland cattle with lots of hair. Holding up well so far! Good battery life.

Works well to keep the extra annoying livestock back when I'm trying to feed or work the fence. Quick zap and they get it. For the extra stubborn, just hold the trigger while popping them. It doesn't take much for them to figure out that it's not worth it to keep being a pest.

I purchased this after my dogs were attacked by an out of control dog while walking. This has kept me feeling safe, since I’d be able to use it against the aggressive animal with some distance in mind. The battery life lasts a long time - I’ve had it two months and not yet needed to charge it. It feels compact, and very easy to use!

Great cattle prod for the money. Used it 4 times over the course of a month and haven’t had to recharge.

I have been struggling with behaviors between 2 of my very large dogs lately. My GSD has been attacking my Pit Bull very viciously over resource guarding and pack order. They are both so huge that even when I try to physically break up the fights I cannot. I was at my wit’s end thinking I’ll have to put down the GSD when I was looking on Amazon for a taser or some sort of deterrent to break up the attacks. And I found this and, it’s been a LITERAL life saver. If I hadn’t had it at the ready to prod my GSD off the other dog she could have done some serious bodily harm. Now, when she sees me even holding the prod, she runs.I would NOT recommend this tool on anything other than LARGE dogs (both my females are 75 pounds) and ONLY as a deterrent. I tell you what though, we have a lot of large stray dogs and coyotes that run around loose in our area, and I’ll never go on a walk without this prod ever again!

My 2 female Cane Corsos got into a fight and I had to use this on them 7 times each before they stopped fighting. They each weigh less than 90 pounds. I was hoping one hit would be strong enough. I would buy a stronger and longer one instead!
