A Mostly Ineffective Conditioner
I've been trying to find a good conditioner that's not chock full of umpteen unpronounceable chemicals, and I've long heard wonderful things about the benefits of royal jelly, so this conditioner sounded like it could be the product for which I've been looking.I do appreciate that it's organic, and its smell is not like so many other conditioners that are so heavily fragranced that they wind up giving me headaches. This does smell like honey in an earthy kind of way, and it's relatively mild and not bad, as far as scents go.Unfortunately, this just doesn't do much at all for my hair. It didn't help all that much with untangling. There may have been some softness and shine, but not anything that super cheap drugstore conditioners don't deliver. All in all, every time I've used this, my hair actually feels more on the dry side, and it seems like it increases the frizziness. That said, it may just be that this product isn't meant to be used on my type of hair: coarse, dry/damaged, color treated, and curly/wurly. It may well be the case that people who don't deal with issues and textures like that will have a much different (and better) experience with this product. For me, though, it's been a disappointment, and my hunt for a great organic conditioner continues.

This stuff works about as well as the "regular" store bought conditioner I normally use. I waited after using for a few weeks so I could give it a good try, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it except the price. I got this as a freebie from Amazon Vine so for me it was nothing. But I was kind of shocked when I saw the actual price of the item. That is the only reason I marked it 3 stars...I figure if I'm paying 3 times the amount that I spend on my normal conditioner, it ought to be something spectacular--which, I'm sorry, on my hair, it just wasn't.

A really nice conditioner that tamed and softened my hair without any harsh or unnatural ingredients ...
I’ve tried out a couple of the Organic Bioactive products before and love them. I checked out their website and found that “Throughout history this wonderful ingredient [the royal jelly] has been heralded as nature’s fountain of youth.” They are primarily talking about its use in their skin care products, but the same would most likely hold true for hair care ones as well. Why not give it a try?I washed my hair with a basic shampoo, one that wouldn’t clash with the Organic Doctor conditioner. As directed, I applied the conditioner to my wet hair and left it a minute or so before rinsing it out. It didn’t take a lot of conditioner, but rather just a small amount so this bottle should go a long way. My hair is as finicky as some cats and I never know what to expect. It’s the type of hair that is weather-dependent and can range from manageable to a total mess. Before washing, my hair felt rather stiff and stringy, although somewhat manageable. “Somewhat,” but not totally in control until after the application of this conditioner. I didn’t blow dry my hair, but rather let it air dry. I’m quite pleased with the way the Organic Royal Jelly tamed my hair. It looks great and is totally manageable.Of course the one good thing is that it is paraben-, SLS-, and phthalate-free and has no artificial colors nor harsh preservatives. It does have a mild fragrance so it you need fragrance-free, simply take a pass. I’m not as particular about my hair products as I am food, but I do like the fact that this company is striving to put out a product that is in line with what many people are looking for: a high quality one with only the best natural ingredients they can find.INGREDIENTS:Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Water, Polyglyceryl-3 methyglucose distearate, Cetearyl alcohol, Glycerin Pyrus malus (apple)fruit extract, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, Glyceryl caprylate, PanthenolGuar hydroxypropltrimonium chloride, Tocopherol, Helianthus annuus (sunflower seed oil), Juniperus virginiana oil, Citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil, Pelargonium, graveolens oil, Pogostemon cablin oil, Citrus aurantium amara (bitter orange) leaf / twig oil, Santalum album (sandalwood) oil, Fragrance, Honey extract, Trifolium pratense (clover) flower extract, Calluna vulgaris flower extract, Royal Jelly extract, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate, Sodium phylate, Citric acid, Ascorbic acid.

Leaves your hair nice and soft and easy to manage.
I used the Doctor Organic Royal Jelly conditioner and it works great! It does not leave a residue on your hair and rinses out nicely. You can easily run a comb through your hair after conditioning and there won't be any tangles or knots to prevent your combing from running through. When your hair is dry, your hair looks nice and shiny and is easy to manage. It has a nice light floral scent too! Really good product and I compare it to Paul Mitchell's Detangler.

Royal jelly conditioner smells like roses
I love this conditioner for two reasons. First, even though it goes on as a rich lotiony lather, it rinses clean to the point that my hair is still 'squeaky clean, which tells me that it doesn't leave any icky residue. Secondly, the scent of this conditioner is very, very nice - probably the best smelling scent in a conditioner that I have ever experienced. It literally smells like roses, with a hint of orange and geranium, but the major scent is roses. I'm using this after the honey-scented shampoo from the same manufacturer, and I'm very pleased.
