This is a great, affordable alternative to expensive professional blow dryers. Purchased this with a 40% off offer to replace my $300 GammaX that decided it wasn’t going to produce heat anymore. This dryer is comparable in every way, if not better. It’s lighter, quieter, easy to handle, and the setting buttons aren’t as touchy, so it stays on the setting you want while you’re using it. It dries my hair incredibly fast, and the motor produces an amazing amount of airflow, without making my hair frizzy. The nozzle is slightly longer than the GammaX, but they’re very similar in size, so it stores easily. The attachments are magnetic, so there’s zero struggling with plastic clips to attach them. The back air intake cover also detaches so you can thoroughly clean it (unlike the GammaX). It seems to be well made (can’t speak to durability yet, since I’ve only had it 3 days), but so far I’m extremely happy with it.

With three decades of experience as a hairdresser, I can confidently say this dryer surpasses all others I've used. It's incredibly quiet, impressively lightweight, and the buttons are perfectly placed for easy access. The heat settings are exceptional, and the nozzle remains cool, which is a huge advantage for stylists who prefer to grip the barrel instead of the handle. It dries hair quickly while leaving it smooth and incredibly glossy.

Anyone else have issues connecting the diffuser attachment to the dryer? Was mine missing a piece or something?Hair dryer itself is great, the main attachment I need is the one that will not clip on magnetically like the other two attachments.

I've had this dryer so a few months now so I feel that I can give an accurate review. I didn't need it but after using my girlfriends I decided to get one and put away my other, 'bulky' blow dryer. This dryer is awesome; it is sleek, light weight and the drying power is excellent, with several drying options. It came with a diffuser attachment, a focused slit nose attachment (great for aiming concentrated air to each section), and a rubber sleeve for the barrel for those who like to hold it by the barrel instead of the handle. I can't compare it to a Dyson dryer but I venture to say it is a good substitute for those who can't or don't want to spend the big bucks on a Dyson. Only time will tell if it is durable and how long it holds up.

My beloved hair dresser has had the Airyomi dryer for a couple of years and many of her clients, including myself, purchased it because of that. It is extremely lightweight, powerful and does a great job with not only drying your hair but leaving it smooth and soft. I've already had a friend of mine buy one as well after using mine. Great product and highly recommend.

I have long, thick, and coarse hair. I never blow dry because it took so long and I would get so hot. My hair would look frizzy and I would feel just miserable.However, I took a chance this dryer would be a different experience & OMG!!! Dries my hair in 5 min or less on the medium setting, and NO FRIZZ! This is life changing for me. If you're on the fence, it's worth it! Also, it's small light and quieter than any other dryer I've used.

When drying a lot of hair the handle gets very warm and sometimes the reset button on the plug will shut off the dryer. It’s powerful and light but I feel like it’s a fire hazard and too hot to hold onto.

I bought this to use at the salon and the cord is a bit short - 2 more feet of cord length would be great
