Know What Your Laptop Needs Before Buying
Left my laptop charger 2.5 hours up north. After EXTENSIVE research I figured out the correct wattage and volts for my MSI Katana and ordered this. Works perfectly. Actually like this one better aesthetically then the stock cable however it is considerably shorter.

Works flawlessly
I got tired of brining my cable upstairs to my office, so I got a second charging cable to have one in my office and one in my sunroom / computer bag. This charges and runs the computer just like the factory-supplied charger and does so without any electronic noise or interference. This works flawlessly, so don’t hesitate to buy it!

works fine for my daughters laptop to take to school
gaming laptops must have one power at home and another for travel.

Great replacement charger for gaming laptop!
My buddy had an MSI laptop that he lost the cord for. He was using a 90w when his laptop needed a180w. We got this and it worked perfectly. I am not sure if it works with other brands but definitely works with MSI

huge bummer with a silver lining.
Despite matching all the information for the appropriate laptop, this product, when plugged into the laptop caused a loud popping noise and subsequent spark. I had held off using the laptop as much as possible so it wouldn't completely die and should have still had at least 10% battery. Since that moment I haven't been able to reboot the computer and suspect that "pop" was a significant mishap. In the end, due to not immediately trying it, not only does it seem it fried my computer, I was unable to return it.Maybe I'll hang onto it and when my worst enemy needs an adaptor I'll give it to them.On the bright side, I found a really good deal on a Lenovo laptop that I otherwise likely wouldn't have given a chance though I was desperate at the time and needed the best thing at under $800 I could find. Haven't had a single issue and works infinitely better than my previous MSI laptop. Another bonus is it appears finding replacement adaptors will be much easier.

Works Great
Received this in the mail today only to find that it would supply power to my laptop but not actually charge my laptop. But there was apparently a setting enabled I didn't check. Works great so far!

Just barely connects
The plug that goes into the computer is nearly too short. I had to have it pushed in all the way and then some to get it to charge. And make sure not to move anything or it will slide out just enough to not charge. I fixed this myself by cutting about 1mm of plastic off the plug so it would insert the proper length into the computer. It works much better now, but should be made better to begin with.
