Good deal for a new battery
The Streamlight models this fits are designed to have plain cells, and the charger handles everything. They aren't lithium, so no kaboom problems. Any decent NiMH cells are fine, unless you need to maintain some certification (in which case get the official battery).

Customer service
I have two led maglites that the original batteries would not hold a charge. So I ordered two of these batteries. Once received, one battery worked great but the other battery would barely hold a charge. I contacted the company and they quickly sent me a replacement. Both flash lights have been working great for months now. Great customer service.

A crappy Ni-cad
Add says it's Ni-Mh, but in fact a Ni-cad and a crappy one at that. Waste of money.
