The appearance is lovely. No buttons getting in the way. The heat is perfect to set to the heat you want between 130C to 230C. It is very easy to use. Very light, as I have arthritus in my hands and can do my hair with no problem. It is easy to pack up and take with you and it comes with a heat pad.I received mine today and tried it out. Wow it is everything they say. No friz. My hair is left soft and came out lovely. Just the way I wanted. I did not put any heat preventing on my hair to test it. So far I am extremely impressed. 💕

Infrared straighteners apparently doesn’t do damage to your hair. So this came up , bought it on sale because my ghd needs a change. Came with a silicon mat and instructions,heats up quick . Let’s see how long my straight hair lasts

I have fine and somewhat fragile hair so maybe straighteners just aren't for my hair type. What I found was, even using the lowest temperature setting, my hair became fried and also broke off. I noticed just how brittle and dry it had become after use. And yes, I did use a heat protectant (I tried several different products) and only straightened my hair every fourth day. I now have to stay away from applying any heat to my hair and using a deep conditioning mask to get it back to the condition it was before. These weren't cheap to buy and I regret my purchase.
