Holy Grail for dry-sensitive skin with rosacea and mild FA
As the title says, it's best suited for dry skin. My skin is EXTREMELY reactive and not only has this sunscreen never broken me out (even when I've slept in it) -it's a pleasure to wear. It does have a couple of flagged FA triggers (esters), but that's never been a problem for me. What I love about it is that it uses new gen filters ONLY. No OMC, octocrylene, avobenzone, oxybenzone, homosalate etc. hidden in there.It's extremely moisturising (in that typical k-beauty glowy/dewy way), so one doesn't need moisturiser before it. A light serum will do, but you can skip that too. I usually use it as a one and done product in my morning routine.Having said that it's meant for dry skin I have worn it in humid places like Goa without any problem - and I use two fingerlengths full for my face.Coming to how it feels and sits on skin - perfect. That's what makes it a joy to wear. It has a delightful glowy effect without any white cast and does not pill or flake. Over time, it has improved my texture and tone with ingredients like allantoin and ceramide.Coming to actual protection - seriously one of the best out there. I live in a high altitude place with high UV index. I sit in the sun A LOT (practically all day) and go for hikes a lot. This has given me proper protection and helps to keep my rosacea under control - and I'm very lazy about reapplying (although this brand's new ads say it can stay for 20 hours - I'd take that with a pinch of salt). What I will vouch for is that along with great sun protection tested under real life conditions, it's helped me rebuild my damaged skin barrier when even, like, water was breaking me out.The only con is that it isn't water resistant, but then again, I don't sweat much.So if your skin type is dry, dry-sensitve, acne-prone or just normal leaning dry - this is perfect. Or give it a shot during winters.PUT SIMPLY - PLEASE DO NOT REFORMULATE!!
