Resolved my network dropping
I have Virgin Media hub 3.0 which gives weak signal and dropping of network now and then. Also some places very less internet speed even with WiFi pod. Placed hub 3.0 in modem mode and connected everything works fine. My two bed room house has full coverage. Second one should be placed where it can receive good signal. Liked it in 15 days of use. I might come back and update if feel otherwise. One thing to note is it does not support ICMP ping.

ok but not great
Both units in the attic of a bungalow. 10m apart. the system reports "good" signal on the backhaul. not sure what needs to be done to make it "EXCELLENT" .. maybe put them next to each other!!

Wifi 6 speed at budget price
I bought the 2 pack as I recently upgraded my Virgin Media Broadband from 350mbps to 1gbps, unfortunately Virgin Media have hardware shortages for the hub 5 which comes with a 2.5gb port and wifi 6, instead they sent me a hub 4 that only has a 1gb port and only WiFi 5. I already had 3 eero 2nd edition mesh hubs but when connected together I was lucky to get 250 mbps on wifi connections anywhere in the house, the wifi of the hub 4 was faster and achieved about 500mbps but you had to sit on top of it. So bought these Mercusys mesh hjbs to see if they made a difference, looking at the alternatives out there like tplink etc and they are way cheaper, I paid £119 for the 2 pack. Connected them initially as a hub rather than a router, was getting high 900 mbps from the one connected via the 1gb port and getting around 500 mbps from the other one which connects via 160 Mhz backhaul. I then ran ethernet between the 2 hubs and get high 900 mbps from both hubs, coverage is very good, I live in a 2 floor house and even remote rooms get over 500mbps. I then connected the main hub as a router, this is stable but didn't make any noticble difference in speed, however it allows you to use QOS. Very impressed, only comaint is that I would have liked the option to choose which channel to assign each wifi band to rather.it being automatically optimized as my analyzer is saying the chosen channel has a lot of interference
