Great mini switch for CCTV
There are a few of these under different brands but all seem the same, we've used them for CCTV cameras when there are a few to go in at an extremity. Will happily power 4 standard domes via POE and provides 1gig link. The switches are well made for the money and we've not had any issues over the 14 months we've been using them.

Better value than TP-Link?
A few months ago I needed a four port POE switch. I saw a suitable switch from Mercusys for about £20 and a TP-Link switch that looks almost identical for about £26. Having not heard of Mercusys I decided to spend the extra £6 to get a brand I recognised. The TP-Link switch worked fine. The other day while expanding my camera network, I found I needed a second switch. I went to do a repeat order for the TP-Link switch but was shocked so see it was now about £46! I decided the brand wasn't worth that much extra and ordered the Mercusys switch which was still £20. Having received it, it seems to work fine, just like the TP-Link. As I was throwing the box out I noticed a sticker on it saying "TP-Link UK Limited"! If ever I need a third switch it is Mercusys for me :-)

Perfect!
Must have for POE devices, such as Reolinks doorbell camera. Also acts as a network switch too, steel framed and was easy to setup.

Just the ticket
My TP-Link POE unit failed after just a year so wasn't really wanting to spend a great deal. Found this and its a nice little unit for the price. Allows me to power my deskphone, hook up my MF Printer and laptop and Wi-Fi mesh box. Does exactly what its supposed to do.

Hard to get a better POE Switch for this price!
I initially had a POE Injector but despite it claiming to offer 15W of power, it just didn't seem to want to power my phone with an expansion dial pad plugged in via USB on the phone itself. I gave this a try as it's a Gigabit switch with 4 ports, 2 priority ports which are perfect for my PC and my desk phone and it's powering the phone over ethernet any my Internet connection is now completely stable and running the phone and my PC flawlessly, consistently hitting the speeds I'm promised via BT.It's worth noting I've got the ethernet plugged into my Dell D6000 dock, not direct into the motherboard ethernet port, and it's still consistently reaching 500Mbps so I'm happy with that.I didn't actually realise until I opened the box but MERCUSYS seems to be part of TP-Link as there was a little warranty card in the box from TP-Link so I'm reassured it's a good build quality and will have a decent lifespan.Overall, a good buy and I think it's a bargain for what I paid for it.

POE+ on a budget
4 POE+ ports for £19.99 ? What year is this? The year is 2024 and anyone who has used POE for 5, 10 or 15+ years will be happy.Mercusys are not my first choice for switches, but for this simple, low budget task and at this price they are the only choice.
